Rose's place is filled with light; it is warm and welcoming. Everything works and is well put together. We felt immediately welcome and comfortable.

This peaceful location was a great escape from our busy digital lives and a chance to get back in touch with nature. The unit is clean and comfortable with a nice arty vibe. A beautifully appointed apartment with top quality amenities. The view is beautiful and location walkable to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Perfect hub for a mid week getaway to nature and the coast. Loved its proximity to the National Parks, hiking paths and coast line. Drivable to favourite coast lines such as Avoca, Pretty Beach, Umina, Copacabana and Ettalong. Clean and safe space that allowed the relaxation of the day to sweep into the nights. Loved this space and its proximity to cafes and entertainment. Totally recommend.

Penelope is lovely. It has everything you need and more! The bed is comfy, the seating area is just right, and there are small touches throughout that make it so comfortable and homey. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The place is walkable to the waterfront. Lynda is super responsive and kind. We really enjoyed our cozy stay!

What a lovely place! I couldn't recommend this stay more. It was such a relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick to respond, the house was beautifully styled and cozy.

We had a great stay in Peter's 'shack'! It is bright, spacious and comfortable. Despite hot weather, it receives a lovely cool breeze, keeping the temperature down. Kitchen & bathroom were well stocked & it was peaceful and relaxing to sit out on the deck. Peter was responsive and accommodating and I would definitely stay again on future holidays.

A wonderful stay in a great big house with plenty of space and things to do. The host was very amenable and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Rooms were comfortable and the big loft space with lots of beds would suit a group with lots of older children, to have a big sleepover of sorts. Well fenced and set up for dogs too, with plenty of parks and dog friendly beaches nearby. Kitchen and cooking facilities had everything you need to actually cook, even for the larger groups that could fit in such a big house.

The location of the home was fantastic. Being able to look out to the lake made the visit feel very peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes walk away from lively cafes and shops. Not having to drive to the Avoca markets was an added bonus. The living area is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Ruth was a great host. Despite not have the best weather, we still found plenty to do in Avoca. If you’re looking for more entertainment Terrigal is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Our stay was great, the location is perfect, close to the park, short drive to main restaurants, shops and cafes. Laura was friendly and helpful.

We live in the area and just needed a place to crash while we had some work done at home. The house is beautiful and airy and instructions were crystal clear. We loved having a little staycation in the best suburb in Newy!
