‘The Rustic Cabin’ was built in the late 60’s as a weekend getaway. Located a 15 minute drive from Sechelt, the Welcome Woods cabin maintains much of the eclectic building style common on the Coast in that era. Most similar dwellings are long gone. It’s a perfect location with Sargeant Bay, Fullerton Beach and Welcome Woods Market, all within a 15 minute walk or short drive. Across the street are kilometres of hiking, and biking trails. Our family has enjoyed the quiet area since 2007.

Halfmoon Haven Beach Cottage is a gem for families or friends looking for an idyllic West Coast getaway. Nestled in the heart of Halfmoon Bay on Welcome Beach, you will sleep to the sounds of the waves and wake up to the songs of the Eagles. Explore nature at your door, or put your feet up and relax on the deck, as you watch your kids and fur babies play on the beach, only a few feet away. This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
