Suitable for 1 or 2 people, the annexe is a lovely space with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Access road is steep and narrow:)

PLEASE NOTE: There is no wifi or bathroom in the hut and the communal /shared shower and toilet is a 1 min walk away down the path. NOTE - NO SELF CHECKIN !

I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Lyall Bay Studio

This is a studio unit under our house with own access from street. There is no outdoor space. Comfortable queen bed, electric blankets. The couch is not a bed. Washing machine/dryer, and washing powder supplies. Kitchen has hot plates, microwave and small bench top oven. Fridge and freezer. Sky TV. Open robe for storage. Ensuite has toilet, basin, shower, no bath. Unit is stylish and well designed, and in great condition. There is space for a SMALL car to park directly outside.
