We stayed there for 4 months. The location is safe, comfortable and set for longer stays. It met and exceeded our expectations. The bedding was comfortable and all rooms have fans +screened windows for natural ventilation. The kitchen is well equipped with a rice cooker, coffee maker, air fryer, blender, good cutting knives and more. The wifi is strong and reliable. Bonus the entire compound is solar with water catchment. It was like “tree top living” amongst tropical plants and singing birds. In this setting there is a lovely pool/spa to sooth your muscles a favorite. Our hostess, Ms.Liz is friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share with her guests. The location is a little off the beaten path but if you want to experience nature it is perfect. From the casita you can walk to the “Roatan Farmer’s or to Politilly Bight and for the more intrepid explorer you can also reach Punta Gorda on foot by a dirt road along the ocean. We recommend the place and would rent there again

I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. The host was incredibly hospitable and made sure everything I needed was available without ever being intrusive. I really appreciated the balance of feeling totally at home while still having complete privacy. All household items and amenities were readily accessible, and everything worked seamlessly throughout my stay. I will not spoil complementary treats on this review though. This place is an absolute gem. Waking up every morning to the sound of the waves crashing and sitting on that porch overlooking the sea will do your heart good. This bungalow is a little off the beaten path, so you probably need a golf cart or ATV to really make it work, but the quality of the accommodation and the view are much better than anything you’ll find in town. When we arrived, the place was spotless. For some free, less touristy activities, make sure to hike up Pumpkin Hill while you’re there, and go to the freshwater caves by the power plant!

Judy's place is absolutely perfect! The pictures portray exactly what the property is - beautiful. The home is clean, comfortable and you can't beat the view. This is our second stay in the area and prefer this location. It is quiet and we always feel very safe in the gated community and neighboring areas. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring the island from the central location. It is an beautiful easy drive to West End for shopping, amazing restaurants, and a faster pace. The onsite dive shop staff was amazing! The dives were filled with nurse sharks, beautiful fish, a ray and so much more! The restaurant is one of the best on the island in my opinion and reasonably priced. Drinks are also delicious! You can't beat the friendly staff. The brewery is also within walking distance and offers a beautiful setting to enjoy food and drinks. I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a perfect island getaway. Our kids (11 & 14) especially enjoyed the trip this time!

The overall property was beautiful and Casita 2 was very relaxing. As mentioned around, Matt and Dalia reflect superior hospitality. It was windy during our three night stay which prevented us from kayaking (comfortably) to the far reef. Despite the uncontrollable weather, we were able to enjoy snorkeling right off the dock which was busy (fish) and peaceful. We rented an SUV and were able to visit multiple areas on the east end. Overall Shelby/Seans' place was great and Dalia/Matt made us feel at home. We'll definitely look to come back again!

my wife and I LOVED the house. It felt like we were in a tree house! The hosts could not have been more friendly! We really enjoyed the animals at the property also. Walking to/ from west end always felt safe and was enjoyable, day or night. We would 110% stay here again and hope to do so.

We loved our stay in this private little space tucked away in the west end. We walked everywhere, had beach access, we’re able to cook for ourselves and save money by having a kitchen, got to know all of the kind and helpful neighbors. The roosters in the yard started very early but we actually loved the sound :) We absolutely plan to be back to Roatan and would definitely stay again!

What a gem. Located in very quiet but easily accessible area of the island, easy access to busier areas. The bungalow was so well designed and one of the better located ones on property, blending a good amount of privacy with airflow. Quick walk over to the pool and restaurant. Having lunch/dinner options on property was very nice for hen we didn't feel like venturing out. Pool and beach were very private and clean. Dock on property was nice to hang on and swim off of. Finally, never been big on having security around when in foreign countries, but I will say it gave us peace of mind to go through a guarded gate to get on property and to see them monitoring the property day and night. I have seen reports from the surrounding areas of some less than ideal encounters, and having the guards was a nice touch. All staff super nice. Bungalow had everything we needed, with plenty of drinkable water. Would highly recommend this spot, especially with kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Shanna’s beachfront home. Very quiet and peaceful. I would suggest using Dylan for transportation to/from airport and all excursions. We stopped at Eldon’s grocery to purchase water and some essentials. Sharla was there with the keys when we arrived. Only a couple food options within walking distance of the home. BIP gas and the adorable Udo’s Deli at Lawson Rock. Walk the beach it’s closer. You can walk around the rocks I promise and delicious. No beach swimming but you can jump off the dock and swim in the warm water. Thank you Shanna for an amazing stay for our first trip to Roatan.

Great location on the island for peace and quiet. the place was great with everything you need. well kept and neat. palmetto bay is a great place with a dive shop, restaurant, pool. the only other place that is walkable is Roatan brewery which has both great beer and food. the cove restaurant on site also has great food. you won't go hungry between the two. you'll need a car if you want to explore the island or have Stephanie recommend a driver. there are excursions available and you join a dive and snorkel. already planning the next trip!
