The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. Serendipity is one of three hand crafted wooden Shepherds Cabins, located on a working farm in the heart of Dalby Forest. (See Serenity and Dahlia Cabins on separate listings.) We're ideally situated just off the popular cycle routes and activity centres. Set in 20 acres of Capability Brown parkland the house sleeps 10 people, in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with a huge kitchen diner and 4 more reception rooms. Dogs are welcome! Less than 30 minutes to York, the coast and the moors.

An extremely peaceful setting with fantastic views entirely surrounded by fields and woodland. Complementary ground tickets will be included for access to Sledmere House and Gardens. Within Sledmere House grounds you will find the beautiful walled garden, deer park, rare breed farm and a delicious cafe serving home cooked food. A perfect getaway for the whole family.

With its intriguing glass topped well in the floor of the main living area. the Lodge offers a king size double bed (5ft width). A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare!
