What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

A lovely home-away-from-home in the heart of Ruapehu. Great for a respite from the all the hiking, biking, and skiing in the area.

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in, Sandra is an awesome host and I felt right at home. The dogs are very cute and super friendly and I always felt like I could ask Sandra for anything if I needed it. Overall a great experience and would 100% stay here again on my next work trip!

I found Braxmere Lodge very clean and comfortable in quiet and traquil location at southern end of Lake Taupo. Felt safe and private. Friendly staff. Stunning views. I will stay again.

Janet’s place was perfect for our stop over in Taupo. It is super close to the lake with awesome surroundings including shops & cafes/restaurants close by. We were recommended Two Mile Bay Sailing Club which is just down the road - it’s an absolute vibe with live music :) What was also great about the place is that it not only had a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen but also a lounge & dining table. The place is spacious, clean & in a great location. Janet is also very lovely & so is her pup Stella! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable spot in Taupo - thanks again for a brill stay :)

The room is located in a pretty old building, but it is well maintained, equipped and very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Located just in the heart of National Park village provides easy access to store, restaurants, bus shuttle and walking tracks. The rooms at the top level offer an amazing view on the volcanoes.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Dave's, the hot pool and pool table were a stand out for us. There's also so much to do in the area, we barely scratched the surface, 100% would visit again.

We had a relaxing stay in the cozy studio. Appreciated the good water pressure and the washing machine. Highly recommended.

Jolanda is an excellent host. Friendly & made sure I had everything I needed. Room was spotless with little chocolates & milk for coffee. Jolanda takes pride in her business & delivers you a hot tasty breakfast as well. Thanks Jolanda for making my stay with you extra special.

We changed our plans due to bad weather and Don was so kind to accommodate us with a same day booking. The communication with him was easy and it was great to meet him in person. The place itself is super clean and spacious and you have perfect lakeview from the bed! Definitely a recommendation!

My partner and I had a lovely two night stay here. The space had everything we needed, was super clean, great location, all the amenities and had a touch of luxury. Werner was super responsive and accommodating. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure!! :)

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Nueva Zelanda 😍 Todo muy limpio, bonito y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia estupenda. Hay mucho espacio para poder colocar dos maletas grandes sin que molesten, un baño grande y lo mejor es la cocina, con todo tipo de utensilios muy bien cuidados para poder cocinar. Además había muchas opciones para desayunar, todo muy bueno. Pudimos hacer la colada y hay una zona de terraza vallada para el alojamiento, todo muy bonito. Sher y Carty han sido encantadores con nosotros, siempre pendientes de que todo fuese bien, interesándose por nosotros y dándonos recomendaciones. Sin duda un sitio para repetir, hemos salido de allí encantados.

We had a lovely stay and it was nice to be greeted by Lynda on arrival. Lots to explore around Taupo. Would recommend and stay again if ever in the area again.

We had a great stay at Bev’s place. It was very quiet and private, even though it is part of the house building. It’s two minutes by car to the centre of town and has easy access to the mountains. The off street parking and drive through access were excellent. The view on a clear day is stunning. Bev and Ed were very attentive hosts; they greeted us in person, they had placed fresh flowers in the room and they were very responsive to our needs throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

Cosy space that was clean, inviting and modern. Easy distance to walk to the lake or shopping. Appreciated a bath to have a soak after hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Laurie and Heather are excellent hosts. Our time in Taupo went too fast. It's a lovely area and many amazing places to experience within an hour drive. And, it was so easy to walk to the lake and the main part of the town.

Such a quaint, cosy and gorgeous villa! Peaceful surroundings and had everything needed for a safe and comfortable stay. Graham was a great host, helpful and very nice. He ensured our stay was pleasant. Would definitely recommend or return. Top spot!

Fabulous spot in Taihape. The morning views of the mountain were stunning and the Gentle Annie was great. Debbie was a great host!

Excellent emplacement dans Turangi à quelques minutes à pied du centre et des commerces. Le logement est très confortable. Nous avions chacun notre chambre, la cuisine était très fonctionnelle. Thé, café, muesli, lait à disposition pour le petit-déjeuner. Grande salle de bains avec machine à laver. Excellent rapport qualité-prix et emplacement à 30mn en voiture de Taupo et du parc Tongariro. Je recommande d'y rester au moins 3 nuits pour profiter de la région (bâton de randonnée et parapluies fournis!)

Had a great stay, great location only a few minutes into town. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Highly recommend.
