Charming Cottage on the beach

Kick back and relax in this calm, quaint, stylish space. Small and cosy, the cottage dates back to the 18th century and features lintels made from ships beams beached long ago. This seaside cottage has a "Loo with a view" over the Solway to Scotland! And if you like to sleep with a window open, you'll drift off to the sound of waves breaking on the shore. We're pet friendly too, as is the beach which is open to dogs all year and the Lakes are just a short drive away. Sea or fells? You choose!

The cottage retains many of the attractive original features - oak beams, sandstone fireplaces, stone stairs, and exposed stone wall. The bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and on a clear day the Scottish Galloway coast and hills across the Solway Estuary can easily be seen through the window whilst enjoying a cuppa.
