Had a wonderful stay - the place was very clean and well stocked. The cheese, fruit and fresh baguettes left out for us upon arrival was an added bonus! Lots to do in the area, with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

The Heron's nest was quite lovely and even better in the summer because of the outdoor spaces available. Meredith had little touches that made us feel special: chocolates on our bed pillows, his and hers bathrobes, drinks in the fridge and cozy blankets you can snuggle with. The space was well lit, nicely decorated with seasonal accents, and stylish. Every space was clean and well maintained. The view of the river and the village is spectacular. We would happily return to Meredith's place. However, I would want to take advantage of the outside.

Exactly as describe! If you want a relaxing getaway that’s close to local trails and Algonquin this is a great middle ground. Felt right at home and would 100% recommend for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.

Shirley a vraiment été une super hôte! Elle avait partie un petit feu de foyer pour nous avant que l’on arrivent. Elle nous a laissé des condiments, café et bouteille de vin 😇quelle belle attention! Magnifique endroit pour relaxer et profiter du bord de l’eau. La maison est très bien équipée et également très propre. Nous avons adoré nos balades en canot et planche à pagaie ainsi que la belle grande salle à manger vitrée. Merci aux hôtes/hôtesses !!

It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

This was my third time staying at this air bnb. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. We go to the Nordik spa and it’s a nice quick drive. There’s a cute cafe not far we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this air bnb.

The place is very nice, the kids liked the small sand beach. The water is very clean and nice to swim and fish. Views are amazing, and the store right across the street has everything you might need during the stay. Goran is great in communication.

This airb&b location is perfect! Walking distance to shops & restaurants and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The place is extremely clean with lots of plants. Sylvia is a great host. A must stay if you're visiting Carleton Place.

Great spot to get away! Goran was extremely helpful and communicative.

Great location if you want to stay and ski! You can see the lifts from the kitchen table which makes it a prime place for a little ski vacay. The condo is exactly like the photos and Melanie is a great host. A couple things to note; if you are sensitive to light bring a sleep mask especially if you are using the pull out couch. Also it is the lower unit so it can be noisy depending on if there are neighbours above, so ear plugs or a white noise machine might help.

This stay was simply perfect! I could ramble on but believe the hype, the space is wonderful and Sylvia was a fantastic host. Amazing value, couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)
