Fantastic service and responsiveness!!! The place was easy to get in and it was nice and clean. The fridge was very noisy the first night, woke us up at 2am. The next day, we reached out to the host to have this addressed. Within a couple of hours, they brought in a new fridge, installed it, and moved all our food items to the new fridge! Overall, the place itself is OK. It's much smaller than how they seem in the pictures. It's an older house but had been renovated. The bathroom basins are small. But those are not deal-breakers. It's close to many shops, restaurants, drug stores etc. Enough parking for multiple cars!

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Amazing spacious home. Mazba's place looks way better and is larger in reality than it looks in the pictures. Our host was also amazing and responsive. Great value for the price too. Overall a 5star experience.

I always look forward to my stays at Erik and Lise Anne’s. they are always very gracious and helpful. Response time for issues is great. Donna, the co host, is magnificent and so kind. The kind of place that makes you feel like your home away from home. Will return many times!

It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

John was very responsive. The place was pristine. I did not end up bringing my dog but it would be perfect for her. The back fence is very high so would even contain my dog who can clear a 5 foot fence. An added bonus is that it is located close to the experimental farm so I could get in a great run in the morning.

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

Thank you for sharing your lovely, well appointed, character home with us Renee! Our stay over the long weekend was everything we had hoped for. We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.

Josseline was a great host, keeping me informed of snow clearing plans during a blizzard and offering assistance if required, without being in any way intrusive. Her AirBnB was lovely and bright, private and convenient. The entire place was clean and comfortable and is a perfect size for one or two to relax or work in.

I have used both Airbnb and Hipcamp many times over the years and this experience and stay would be in my top 2 recommendations to anyone wanting a stress free camping experience! I cant wait to come back and do some more rock hunting and exploring.

What a cute little cabin! Super peaceful getaway. We had everything we needed and Jess was helpful. Love that it was dog friendly, my dog was ecstatic. Wish we had booked it for longer, we didn’t want to leave!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend at Etienne’s cottage. The island was so interesting to explore and we hiked many trails. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend! We didn’t realize when booking that the main house was only a few hundred feet from the cottage but we still had privacy. In the summer, if other people rented the second cottage and you were all outside I do think that privacy would go down. Otherwise, we loved all of it and would highly recommend!!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at in years. Alain & Paola are one of the few remaining hosts that care about the small details and personalized touch. The place was super clean, and I'm someone with high standards. The personalized message, guestbook and coffee, tea etc. I was very happy I could being my dog as well! She loved the outdoor space to run around. I'd stay there again!

I was looking for a place near Gatineau Park, and Marc-Andres's place fit the bill and was a very comfortable place to spend a week.
