The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a cosy cabin in the lush green hills and beautiful vistas of the Hawkesbury region north-west of Sydney. The cabin is built on the side of a hill and looks directly into a small forest of eucalypts - perfect for trying to spot one of our regular koala visitors. It is 200m past the main house on the property, and completely private. Curl up with a book, feed a donkey, pour a wine, cuddle a corgi, or sit on the deck take in the country. We are 10 minutes walk from the main street in Leura and only 5 mins from Mt Hay road which connects you to scores of bush walks including the trail to Lockleys Pylon and the Shortridge Pass to the Blue Gum walking track.

The Hill Station is in the heart of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, immediately adjacent to the Mt. Tomah Botanic Gardens. The renovated cabin is set in an acre of gardens and is an ideal retreat for a couple. The cabin has a Living/Bedroom area with one queen bed, a sunny Kitchen and a new Bathroom. There are cafes nearby, the Botanic Gardens are a short walk, and the main towns of the Blue Mountains are 20 minutes drive away.
