As you pass from the outside deck into the Cottage's living room you will pass from the 21st century, back in time to a more leisurely mid-20th century Cottage. This newly renovated cottage has a kitchen that is built up around original cabinetry; but, has new appliances tastefully incorporated. The hallway leads to the 2 bedrooms with their antique style beds; but , with 12" memory foam mattresses. The bathroom boasts a walk-in glass shower and a sink right out of the 1947 Sears catalog.

I am excited to share this space with you. This Airbnb is named after Venus, the goddess of Love, beauty, and pleasure. There was a lot of Love putting this home together; there is charm throughout this one-story ranch; there are many spaces in the house for you to find comfort. The intention is to make all guests feel they are walking into their own homes. There are a lot of windows, so there is a lot of natural light. The design is very open and each space within holds its own purpose.

The Loft - Monte Vista

Our garage loft is a renovated and refurnished 900sf apartment. Clean, simple spaces and furnishings make for a relaxing getaway. We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.
