Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Come and stay on a working sheep and cattle farm. Our 2 pod site has fantastic panoramic views of the purbeck hills and corfe castle. Sit, relax and enjoy all the farm animals and amazing wildlife around! The pods have been named after two of my favourite animals to see 'The Owl' and 'The Hare' Great for exploring and walking! There are footpaths straight off the farm. The village and surrounding pubs are walking distance away. Swanage has a lovely sandy beach is 20 minute drive away.

Welcome to Stonechat Cottage, a Grade II listed limestone cottage that dates back to 18th century. The cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard with modern amenities, but still retains its classical charm and many period features including exposed beams. Worth Matravers is a beautiful, English village in the countryside of Purbeck, and enjoys a delightful duck pond in the heart of the village as well as many original stone cottages.

Little Orchard is a self-contained annex with its own private entrance and parking outside. Comprising of one double bedroom with king size bed, TV, small table and chairs, WIFI. Large bathroom with rainfall shower. Entrance lobby containing a small fridge with ice box, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Bed linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash and toilet roll are all provided.
