We were looking for a weekend getaway from DC and this beautifully renovated stone farmhouse tucked into a secluded hillside was exactly what we are looking for. We biked the WOD trail and wanted to be close to town and restaurants so location was perfect. Bedroom/living area was exactly as depicted in the photos. Kitchen, laundry, bathroom on ground level below all clean, modern fixtures, and spacious. Loved relaxing by the fire pit. Peaceful and quiet/private surroundings.

Loved our stay! We were here from DC mainly to hike and relax and the space was perfect for both! Location is close to the north entrance of Shenandoah National Park which was wonderful. We cooked most meals in the unit and it was well equipped for basic meals. Beds were comfy, AC/heaters worked great, and the views were spectacular. Host was lovely and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

We had a gloriously quiet and peaceful stay! Perfect setting if you want to get away from the din of urban or suburban living. The host was wonderfully communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend staying at this cabin, and would love to return ourselves again sometime!

Very nice and tastefully decorated mountain style cabin. Spacious with great look. Clean, quiet and much nature around. Communication with Lisa and Jim was pleasant, to the point and with quick answers. I can highly recommend

Had such a great weekend here celebrating our wedding anniversary with our pup! Location was stunning, right on the water. Great fishing spot and great for small kids and dogs to play in ( shallow). House was so clean and had everything we needed and MORE. Will definitely try and come back!

The place was exactly as pictured. Very cozy and loved having water views everywhere. Definitely recommend it!

This trip was my first time booking with Airbnb, and I am so glad I did. My husband and I stayed for 1 night, but we will definitely be back. The property was easy to find, easy to check-in, and had the most beautiful views. It was spacious and we felt right at home from the moment we entered. The home was clean and there were games/books/movies provided for guests which was really appreciated. The best part was the hot tub at sunset. Absolutely beautiful and so worth it!

We stayed at this Airbnb for a bachelorette weekend with six adults, and it was absolutely beautiful—both inside and out. Three of us stayed upstairs, while the other three used the bunk beds, which were surprisingly comfortable and conveniently located near a full bathroom on the same floor. We were especially relieved to have a screened-in porch, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The house was thoughtfully stocked with essentials, including a charming coffee bar and plenty of towels. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway!

My husband and I had a fantastic birthday weekend getaway in James’ lovely cabin. The views were spectacular anytime of day/night. From sunrise to sunset, to the clear and star-filled night sky, it was beautiful. We had birds and rabbits visit the yard and it made mornings so delightful. It was a 10/10 experience!
