Amy's place is ideally located for walking everywhere in Arcata. just blocks from the Plaza, Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary, grocery and other stores, and a walkable distance to Cal Poly Humboldt and Arcata's Redwood Park. The house itself is cozy and pleasant, with plenty of space inside, and a very inviting outdoor seating area for nice days. The beds are very comfy, the shower is great, and all house systems are in excellent working order. Love the big, fluffy towels! Amy was very welcoming and helpful, proactively sending all the info we needed. Getting in was a snap, and checkout was a breeze. We very much hope to stay again on future visits. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely peaceful and beautiful place to stay if you’re wanting to explore the surrounding areas. Has everything you need and more. Really enjoyed the garden and patio area to unwind after a long day. Will definitely recommend! Thank you to our host for having us and making our trip that much more special.

Eric and Dorian were super easy to work with. Very responsive with communication and local tips. The place itself is amazing with fantastic views, beautiful garden and such a pleasant quaint town. Grocery, shops, restaurants, coffee shop, nice hiking trail right out front! The beach is visiible from the front deck with a nice short walk to both that and the pier. A fantastic spot to cook a nice meal in the kitchen or at the grill, lots of outdoor coffee and dining space. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub are super bonus on either a rainy day or a salty dip. We had both sun and rain the place is perfect for either. Thanks so much for sharing such a special property.

This was my family’s second time staying during spring break vacation and it was just as great as the first time. This time we brought our dog and accommodations were great. The house has easy access, quiet and peaceful. The living room television has been upgraded to a larger size which was awesome for our family movie nights on Netflix. Eric was very responsive when we had WiFi questions and welcoming at our independent check in. We look forward to another vacation here again.😊

Very central 2 bedroom apartment in Arcata with easy walks to University (5mins) and downtown (~10mins). It has great views of HSU across the freeway; it has some minor freeway noise - just used white noise for sleeping. Great mattresses in both bedrooms & has a large comfortable couch to hang out on. Bathroom needs a little TLC with putting up towel rack and TP holder but great hot shower. Can get stuffy inside but living room windows open easily. It’s a lovely comfortable clean 2 bedroom apartment centrally located. We enjoyed our time and slept well, and the host was very responsive to questions. Thanks Megan!!

A great getaway in Blue Lake. Close to the casino, if that is your thing, or quick hop on the highway to the coastal beaches and outdoor adventure. Inside there is plenty of space to spread out and a great yard. We had dogs, so the place worked out great with the extra space and outdoor area. Love that view from the dining room of the rolling forest hills - can't beat it!

The place was very clean and nice and looked exactly like the photos. We got there when it was dark, so a little hard to find as its in a deep network of neighborhoods. But with the additional directions the host gave us it was very clear!

Such a comfortable, clean, spacious space to rest and settle into after a very long day of driving. Close to Hwy 101 and not far from restaurants and the harbor area, but a little up a hill to catch some views of the ocean and bay in the distance. Very dog friendly and the basket of treats was so nice. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Tania was an excellent Host and we were so thankful to find her rental for our one night stay!
