My home is a 2 story home built in 1856; it has one bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. We refinsihed 9 inch pine wood floor trying to keep most of yesterday in the house. kitchen is fully equipped with snacks and coffee, tea! Historic villages of Hyde Park and Rhinebeck are just a short drive along the river. As well as fast access to hiking and biking trails in local Shawangunk mountains, Mohonk Preserve, and Minnewaska State Park.

Extreme cleanliness is a priority. Quality bedding assures a good nights sleep. The bathroom offers a rain shower and soaking tub. The kitchen is fully equipped and fresh produce is available from the neighboring organic farm in season. Good hiking trails are accessible from the house.

The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show.
