I wanted to say thank you for letting us enjoy our vacation in your cottage. Your cottage was the perfect retreat from our everyday lives. We hope we will be able to visit again.

Eka was a great host. We made a last minute reservation and Eka was able to accommodate our needs. The place was very cozy yet spacious. The cedar sauna was the highlight of our stay. Everyone enjoyed it and wanted to come back. Thanks for everything Eka.

margarthas cottage is beautiful and the view of sparrow lake is stunning! we very much enjoyed our week there! and as a host she was great and fast with replies to inquiries!

We spent a couple of days up here, and it was as described. It took me back to my childhood! The classic “by the lake” cottage. And it is that. Complete with a breezeway with life jackets, a great dock, and of course the fantastic lake. We enjoyed a campfire, and the place had everything we needed, for meals and memories. It is a cottage though. You should expect that. It isn’t fancy, and Geoff doesn’t describe it that way. It is how he describes. Geoff is also very responsive, and when we had a question, came back right away. It was a nostalgic little getaway for us! We loved it.

We had an awesome stay. It was girls/moms weekend away. Got to sleep in each morning on comfy beds as late as we wanted but seeing the sunrises was great too! All the furniture was super comfy. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and more. The lake was picturesque and the grounds were beautiful. The hot was the icing on the cake for us ladies though. Clean and the perfect temperature. I would absolutely recommend staying At Orkney Beach and would love to come back again in the summer for a longer stay. 3 night wasn't enough. Murray was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much for hosting us!!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

This was the second time booking this beautiful cottage. The place is perfect and very well maintained. Can’t recommend this enough for anyone really looking to enjoy where they are staying. The hosts are very polite and engaging. Thank you so much for another great stay!

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Place was nice amd cosy for our family break in winter. Great toys collectiom for 2 years old, good books collection for older kids. Only downside was that it didn't have microwave which was tricky with 2 yr old especially when trying to warm up milk quickly. TV could have been bigger fpr the space but it was still good enough. Ian was very helpful and responsove during our stay, he got snow cleaned promptly during our stay.

We absolutely loved the cottage it was perfect for our week at the beach. The beach itself was just steps away and was absolutely beautiful with calm,clear water and friendly neighbours. There is a strong sense of community in the area. We really loved the outdoor shower which was a family favourite. We will defiantly come back to this cottage again and again if we can.

We had an amazing 2-days escape with my boyfriend, like exactly what you need for your mental health. The place was so private and peaceful, not a lot of things to do, but you can do lots of things of walking, enjoying the nature (the horses there are beautiful) and also they offering 🛶 canoe-experience that you can try absolutely for free. The host is so friendly and helpful in all the questions and requests that I had , so definitely recommendable place .

Stephen's place is just as described. Private cabin with everything you need to bbq and stay warm. The views were beautiful and the sauna was a great amenity. Would recommend staying here!

If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape, Zoey's place is it! Our few days there were a wonderful retreat from our busy lives. The breathtaking view and access to the lake were highlights, providing such a relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation was spotless and felt so warm and cozy – a true home away from home. This little place is one of a kind!! Would return in a heart beat. Friendly and responsive host, beautiful, peaceful setting, Hiking and archery on property. The house itself was clean, cozy, and private . We enjoyed our stay so much!! Will definitely come again!

What a gorgeous place to get away from the city for a few days. The comfortable studio has everything you'd need during your stay. The fields are great for walking (especially if you have a dog), and there are all kinds of magnificent hiking trails nearby. My arrival coincided with a massive ice storm and Vince and Miranda were in touch every step of the way, keeping me updated on conditions and options. They were a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning next time I need a taste of the country.

Janna’s cabin is perfect for a little getaway! The place was very homey and quiet! Beautiful view! I would love to come back in the summer! Would stay here again! :)

Cabin #9 was amazing! Perfect size for 2 people! Amazing balcony with a table and chairs and a BBQ. So much to do close by! Paddleboats, Kayaks, Canoes, a pool and more! Larger yard area to play some sports. Host was very responsive and super friendly! I would definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay. The space was large, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. My son especially loved meeting the farm animals, which made the experience truly special for him. Our dog had the best time playing with their dogs, which added a great touch to the trip. Bonnie was welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.
