Slad - lovely rural views

We have lived in Slad since 1985, it is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year - our guests can explore the lovely valley and surrounding countryside; we're two miles from Stroud. Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds are within easy reach. We have really enjoyed being Airbnb hosts for over 5 years ; we have two rooms available with double beds (but also suitable for single visitors). We have a lovely, lively collie Zelda, so are now getting lots of Slad walks ourselves too!

In addition to your bedroom and bathroom you can enjoy your own sitting room with large Smart TV and separate breakfast/garden room in this comfortable and cosy Cotswold cottage. ALTHOUGH THE HOST LIVES HERE YOUR PRIVACY IS GUARANTEED. Daylesford and several excellent pubs are within easy reach. The village is a haven of peace and quiet but close to the historic towns of Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway among others. There are also many beautiful walks straight from the door

Perfect for a secret romantic break. Situated conveniently for Burford, Cirencester and Cheltenham, you can explore South Cotswolds.

Take a step back in time with all the modern comforts by staying in the beautiful 16th century Cider Mill Cottage. Relax outdoors in the lush three-sided garden and lawns, perfect for al fresco dining. Located in the quiet country village of Alderton, the local shop and friendly pub (with plenty of outdoor seating) are a few minutes walk. With pretty local walks and cycle paths just outside the door, this historical chocolate box cottage is ideally located for days in the Cotswolds.

The house is close to bus routes to Gloucester, Stroud and the Cotswolds. It is also within a five minute walk of a Tesco Express shop (open 7-11), and a mile from two large supermarkets. Restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Excellent location for walkers, especially as a stop-off while doing the Cotswold Way. Local walk information available.

There is off road parking available on the driveway.
