Originally built by my mom, “Oma,” to use as a retreat while visiting her grandkids, it's a green paradise in the summer and, with its cute woodstove, a warm and cozy retreat in the winter. 'Oma's Cabin' is located up Tunket Road in the Mettowee Valley of Pawlet, VT - our driveway is also the trailhead for Haystack Mt., so you have a spectacular hike out your front door. Cabin is HIKE-IN ONLY during the winter.

This lovely renovated 3-room apartment is attached to our 1885 Vermont italianate home, located is historic Middletown Springs, Vermont. We have been working on restoring this house, listed on Vermont's registry of historic homes, for a dozen years now. The apartment has its own entrance, full kitchen, and one spacious bedroom. The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.
