Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Dad's Place is located 1/2 mile from Clinch Valley Medical Center and right on the Spearhead Jawbone Trailhead, hit the trails when you leave the driveway for hours of riding fun, 1/2 mile to restaurants, shopping and more, 10 minute drive to Broadway Cinema and Walmart. Easily accessible from 4 lane highway. Dad's place sleeps 4 with 1 full size bed and a pull out sleeper sofa, 40 in smart TV in main living area.

Whether visiting the beautiful mountains to bike or hike the Creeper Trail, sightseeing in the historical Abingdon or Bristol area, attending a game at E&H or just passing through to another destination, our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming home for your getaway. Resting on an acre of land and right off I 81 enjoy your stay in our cozy, country cottage.

A Bit of Heaven Rental:Cove Suite Warrior Trail

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.
