Welcome to our newly refurbished, luxury cottage. Situated in the grounds of a 17th Century Manor House, this self-contained cottage benefits from its own private entrance and a private garden. There are over 80 acres of gardens/countryside and a 3km woodland trail for you to explore. Located on the rural Essex / Suffolk border, we are just 3 miles from Colchester the oldest recorded town in Britain.

The Stables

The stables are a light airy open plan barn conversion finished in 2018. A sumptuous king size bed. Your own private entrance with your own kitchen with a starter pack all ready for your stay including continental breakfast for one morning There is Wi-fi within the barn. We are 20 minutes to Mersea island, 5 minutes to Colchester zoo and 10 minutes from the magnificent Layer Marney Tower.
