A gorgeous, peaceful spot and wonderfully cozy stay! Kim was a helpful host but also left us to our own devices. We particularly enjoyed the art, the super record & DVD collection, the visiting bird life and rain on the tin roof. Highly recommended <3

Loved my stay. Perfect for purpose little idyllic spot. I’m a fan of tiny homes and this is a very similar size accomodation. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was pristine. Kitchen is a little dated but completely functional and Jennine has thought of everything her guests may need. The bathroom is beautiful and modern with decent water pressure allowing for a nice shot shower. The bath and the garden were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the bath as I had a lot of work to do during my stay. I did feel a little vulnerable sleeping beneath that huge Manna Gum tree but I did know that was going to be the case prior to my booking. But I could never have predicted the spectacular storm and power cut and sleeping under that tree! I must admin to being a bit worried about it. Jennine was proactive, and she messaged me where to find emergency candles. Couldn’t have asked for a more accomodating owner. Very happy I chose this peaceful place. Thank you Jennine.

The location of the cottage was beautiful. The house was clean and well appointed.

It's like a hidden gem tucked away until you walk into it, only then you will understand. Highly recommended, communication was on point - I asked for an additional night without no problem which was adjusted pretty much immediately which was awesome. The entire experience from reservation to arrival to check out was seamless, friendly and easy. The place is cosy, super clean and comfortable. Communication with Heather was super easy and her response is super quick. We came during winter and the place has really good heating. The Retreat cabin we stayed in also had an inside hot tub and a super comfortable bed. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Sharon was so lovely, showed us around the space, gifted us all the bits for a breakfast the next day and was super accommodating which our check in time etc. The space was even nicer than the images, it was cozy even though it’s a very large room. Really great shower. Would definitely recommend

We LOVED this place! It was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, the perfect getaway in this beautiful town. The photos don't do this place justice. The place makes you feel relaxed and at peace, had everything we needed and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend ☺️

Jo's cottage is wonderful and was perfect for our one day/night stay. The bathroom is spacious, and kitchen well-appointed. We really appreciated it being warmed up on arrival. Huge tv and comfy couch after cooking a dinner with local produce. We didn't get to enjoy the courtyard, but it is nicely set out and private. Jo popped into say hi, which was great to meet a fellow host. This is centrally located to restaurants, and to the Macedon Ranges. 18-minutes from Trentham, 20 from Woodend, not to far to Daylesford or the mount, or Hanging Rock. I grew up in Mt Macedon, so if you are first-timers, give yourself time to get out and about and enjoy. Jo has a calendar of all the markets on the fridge, which I highly recommend. Really wonderful little cottage, suited best for couples or young family. Thanks Jo, we will see you again!

We loved our stay at Ethel cottage. Both inside and out, it was the perfect space for some relaxing, quality family time. Watching the wildlife from the cottage was an added bonus. We particularly loved the kangaroos, kookaburras, deer and hare. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals and includes bed linen and towels.

Fantastic place for a single or couple to stay in. very comfortable, modern, with an old world charm still remaining. These guys have nailed it with the quality of decor, value and hosting. Highly recommended

Kendell and Paul were absolutely lovely hosts. Their property was amazing, perfect location for kids and the family. So nice to wake up and take some chicken eggs, have access to the pool and a place for a walk. We loved our stay here, it felt comfortable and welcoming. Kendell is a great host with an amazing attention to detail in her listing, responses and place. 10/10 recommend.

Great location, private, plenty of room and well laid out. Well presented and very comfortable bed. Recommend

It’s a 2bed house with air conditioning. Good for a couple or family to stay. Bus stop is walkable distance. And Brayhead shopping centre is near by, 15-20mins walk. Garden could be cleaned properly and lots of shredded leaf and tree shred around the house. Parking is there for free which is good. All required utensils available at property. I used Washing machine and working well. Extra fans available in both bed rooms. I spend my evening by Netflix and chill. So, totally it’s a good place for affordable entertainment.

Bronte was an excellent host. Super friendly and accommodating. The place is a perfect little self contained space. Spotlessly clean and some lovey little touches. The park across the road was lovely for a walk and a play on the playground.

Michael was a great host, responsive and had easy to follow instructions. The dog barely barked and it’s a nice peaceful neighbourhood. The apartment was spotless and perfect for a couple nights away.

We really enjoyed staying at this comfortable, roomy, well set up home. We were greeted with an abundance of supplies and also as I was doing some extra baking for our Easter trip they provided me with electric beaters and pans from their own kitchen. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay, we would love to come back next time we visit Melbourne.
