We had such a great time at Jo’s place! The tent was more than we could have asked for, immaculately clean, great toilet and shower facilities, plenty of space in the living area and great kitchen. The stove was good fun to keep going and cook with, the weather was a bit chilly in the evening and the stove kept the place toasty warm. There was lots of space for the kids to run around and play and due to how the tents were situated you never felt as if you were intruding on any of the other guests. The kids lived visiting the chickens and the piglets each day on the way in and out of the site, they were very inquisitive pigs who run out to say hi when you go by!! We visited swanage, durleston copy they park and studland bay, all great days out with the kids and the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back next year!!

The bell tents were lovely, very spacious with 5 beds inside and lots of lovely touches like tea lights and useful camping things you’d never think to bring. Thanks Nicky and the team for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. This is a wonderful and peaceful place. The caravan is spacious and full of games, books and general stuff to keep everyone entertained. Garden is just fabulous and the wildlife flourishes. This is a very child friendly place with lots of space for kids to run around and lots of things to do without having to leave the comfortable space…and you have chickens as your neighbours. Location is ideal for exploring nearby places & attractions and / or you can just walk to Longford which is a stunning place.

We had a great time here. The location was picturesque and there was plenty to do on our week long stay. The tent was ideal and surprised us with how roomy it was. Check in was easy as in they text to let you know it’s ready and you just turn up at your tent. Each tent has a BBQ kettle, fire pit, two deckchairs and a large beanbag so lounging outside is to be encouraged. The views are great and the animals on site are friendly enough. The only gripe we have (completely not anything the venue can solve) is the Earwigs! They get absolutely everywhere! If you’re going to stay here then be prepared and maybe bring some airtight containers (even then they’d find a way in!). The play barn area and farm activities are spot on and there’s a lot to do to keep you entertained and although you have to pay, if you’re staying on site then it’s pay once and use as many times as you like after. We ate at The Cow twice whilst we were here and the food was great, service was spot on and for a reasonable price as well. We had a great time here and we’ll definitely be making a return visit, albeit we’ll probably try a lodge next time round. Thanks for having us!

Lovely location. Outside space was perfect for the kids. Plenty of space for outdoor activities. Nothing like we’ve stayed in before, kids loved it. Nice and quiet. The pigs in the field next to the tent came right over for belly rubs! Nice and clean inside and has everything you need. Would definitely return. 10/10

Great intro to camping. We had an issue with our own inflatable mattress and asked if they had a spare we could borrow and Sophia responded quickly. The kids loved the friendly cat, great location between Lulworth and Weymouth both 20 mins away, big tesco 15 mins or so in Dorchester if you do forget anything. Campsite was clean, kitchen had plenty of utilities and electricity points for charging stuff. Bell tents are surprisingly spacious for us (5). Will go again and recommend to friends and family

We stayed in the magic bus and what magic it was!!! You have made us already start looking for a bus ourselves to covert after only ever having vans in the past!! The fire was perfect! The location was perfect & we was alllowed to check in earlier & check out later with no extra charge. Such kind people and the kids absolutely loved it! Thank you so much!!

I took my son for night and we both loved it. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, the van was perfect and the campsite was great especially the fire pits and pool. As for the location great to get to the national parks and the beach. Thankyou Lou for all your help and being amazing with my boy Sonny

Had such a lovely birthday weekend celebration here at Tatalon! Was a nice getaway and we were kept entertained with the outdoor games, hot tub, bbq and TV! Also got a bottle of bubbly to start our stay in the perfect way. I stayed in October and yet we were still warm and cosy inside with plenty of blankets. Jo was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone and will definitely come back here!

This place was amazing. We booked it for our 12 year olds birthday and it was just perfect. So peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was brilliant and we all loved it. The bus was so well kitted out. Our bed was SO comfortable - slept really well! The owners kindly put up a Happy Birthday banner for our son along with marshmallows for the fire. There was even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge🤩 We all feel like we have had a real “brain break”, going home feeling relaxed, chilled and calm. We actually didn’t want to leave and stay forever. Just a fantastic place and can’t wait to go back. It was all so so so perfect - Thank you

My partner and I had a great few days in the shepherds hut with our dog. The location was perfect for all the outings we had planned and it was a cozy place to hide from the weather when it inevitably turned bad. What I hadn’t realised until we arrived was that there is a fenced area outside the hut so our dog could be kept safe outside, this was very helpful!

Lindsay was a perfect host, great, clear instructions and came to say hi just after we arrived. The tent was great, spacious and cosy, fully carpetted with fold out beds. There's a small table and chairs outside the front with a firepit. There are logs available to buy, but we bought our own. Perfect for sitting out till late toasting matshmallows. Very simple with no running water, but there are two toilets. It's peaceful, not crowded and back to nature. We were excited to see our first glowworm! The stars were spectacular. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The location of the tent was great, very close to the washing up area, the inside of the tent was neat and tidy, well stocked with cookers and spices and even had a cooling box. it was very quiet at night and you could really feel like you were in nature. Would definitely come back and would 100% recommend!

I had a lovely stay at Pippins, Jill was so lovely and accommodated me bringing my daughter last minute without any issues. She was friendly chatty and helpful, when I accidentally turned off the hot water and didn't know what I had done. I would love to come back to stay again. Great host, Great Location and a Great place.

What a beautiful spot and fantastic lodge. A positive safari feel and beautifully equipped. We have never ever stayed somewhere with so many sharp knives, helpful ingredients and outdoor toys. The design is original and it is furnished to a fabulous standard

We had a lovely stay on the Jurassic bus. Judith and family were very helpful and the location was beautiful. Our 3 children found the bus fun. The beds were super comfy and the bus was spotless and clean.

I booked this as a last minute surprise for my boyfriend, and when we arrived he said it was being in a fairy tale!! Stephen and Amanda came and greeted us and showed us the caravan, which is tucked at the bottom of their garden, it was so peaceful, watching the birds and squirrels. Everything was catered for and enjoyed relaxing by the fire til midnight listening to the owls. And the bed was so snuggley! Slept so well!! Highly recommend if you want a piece of nature and outdoor living with all your creature comforts! Many thanks, definitely will return. 😊

We had a lovely stay for our sons 5th birthday. The play barn was a big hit with our two, our 9 year old said 'this place is better than Disneyland!' The hosts messaged on the day to say it will be ready a couple of hours early which was great. Such a relaxing spot with plenty for the children. Thank you.

A beautiful little getaway for my husbands 40th. The accommodation was super cute, cosy, comfortable, and in such a gorgeously peaceful spot in the countryside- everything we could've asked for for 2 lovely relaxed nights away. A serene and charming stay at Lucy and Andy’s. The hot tub is fantastic and the views of the countryside can’t be beaten. Accommodating and friendly hosts, would recommend to anyone.

Great accommodation - very peaceful location but still within walking distance of a pub - with some bonus features; very well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor seating area, super hot tub Great hosts - welcoming and loaded with very useful local info - we wouldn't have had a lovely afternoon tipple at the local vineyard (do not miss!) without! Double thumbs up for the airstream if you're thinking of staying in the area
