This place covers all the bases for a great stay for a big family get together! Excellent communications, nice welcome and then all the things to keep three families from ages 3-16 entertained. Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

Serendipity was beautiful, Mark was very accommodating and communicative. The views are amazing from the garden, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Hare cottage was beautiful and Lisa has thought of everything you will need for a relaxing holiday.The cabin is modern,fresh and lovely decor.We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing hot tub and watching the stars in a non light polluted area made it very special indeed.The children loved all the open space ,board games and of course the swinging chair on the decking to read was a bit hit too.Lisa is a great host and is always at the end of a message if you need anything.We would highly recommend the cabin and can't wait to return to see more of the area . booked Dave & Emma's place for my husbands 60th birthday weekend. there was 12 of us, all family with 3 children amongst the group with the youngest being 4 years old. the accommodation had everything you could wish for with the kids and adults alike all making use of the games room, bikes and kayakes. the park and beach were literally opposite the house, so was a great location and the weather was brilliant. we also made use of the hot tub, which was very popular.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house full of amazing amenities and set in a gorgeous location. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and the perfect environment for a larger group of people. Highly recommend it if you ever come to this area.

Super chilled weekend away. A wonderful, peaceful place to stay, with a little private wooded walk onto the common and a nice pub 30 minute walk away. The annexe is cosy and well equipped for a relaxing break, with the hot tub, log burner and all the little things you might have forgotten - also a super comfy bed for yummy lie-ins! Lesley, Peter (and the animals) are really friendly and welcoming. This is our 2nd visit and we will hopefully stay again. Thank you! x

We chose a long weekend the week before Easter. The house and the location matched our expectations and needs. Allan’s meet and greet on arrival was a warm welcome and informative. Brook House is a lovely home and we had a great stay. The spacious kitchen, bedrooms downstairs, wood burner and hot tub are real highlights. We enjoyed a BBQ and a Sunday Roast during our stay. The outdoor patio lights work very well to enjoy the garden in the evenings. The house is wonderfully located to explore the south coast and nearby attractions. We enjoyed a walk to the local club for drinks and live music. (Only available Fridays) on the first evening. We did a day trip to Brownsea Island which was fun. Moors Valley Country Park and Forest nearby offers a lot of options for a family Sunday outing. Our only fault was not staying a few more days!

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. Had a great stay in a beautiful house in a fabulous location. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. We struggled with TVs in the bedrooms but I think that's down to us and fire sticks.!! Simon responded quickly to any issues we had. We laid in bed and watched the sunrise - what's not to like. Would recommend.

Had a fabulous Easter break here, beautiful view of fields and countryside. Welcomed by the hosts, very kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend to a friend as a great place to stay.

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

An excellent weekend was had to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family. The property had everything we needed and there were few issues. The weather was excellent and our grandchildren loved the hot tub, large gardens, pool table, badminton, table tennis which gave them many hours of enjoyment. There was plenty of opportunity for relaxing with the extensive book shelves and TVs in both properties. An ideal property for a multi generational gathering, very well equipped kitchen/bathrooms with copious crockery, glasses and cooking facilities as well as many towels. Highly recommended.

Comfort Hill was the perfect spot to celebrate my 35th birthday with my family of 8 - including a baby, an infant, and a dog! The villa has chill vibes, plenty of space, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Ideal for a big family getaway.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

A lovely place to relax at. Owners were great and helpful. Loads of places to go and see around the area. Cabin was nice and spacious. Will defiantly be returning in the future.

Stayed for 3 nights in the cabin. Hosts Rob & Corin were very friendly & helpful. The cabin is in a private garden, which is beautifully maintained, peaceful, with great views. The cabin has everything you need for a fabulous break, lovely log fire & the hot tub makes it extra special, so relaxing just watching the birds on the feeder& listening to the cows & sheep in the local fields. Will definitely return & will recommend to friends.

What can I say. Applejacks is an absolute dream of a place to stay. The design of the place and every detail is just beautiful. The mass of open outdoor space, with your own stream and small paddling pond. Sit next to the pond and listen to the stream on the wooden swing seat. Take a walk through the fields, across the bridge and go seek out the lake, where you will find the 3 resident ducks. Enjoy chilling out in the hot tubA short walk to the local shops. Inside the cabin is everything you need. The Sonos music system in the ceiling is just amazing. A portable Bose speaker for outside too. A fridge, a freezer, dishwasher....you name it....they have thought of it. Did we miss not having a T.V.....not at all. The hosts are incredible and we will definitely be back.
