The Beechworth Conservatory

Welcome to The Beechworth Conservatory! The c1855 Country House is set on the private grounds of the old Newtown grocers, which has now been turned into a multifunctional venue by local design partners Megan & Ollie. The accomodation in the shopkeeper's residence has been lovingly restored complete with original heritage features. Yellow Cottage El Dorado Van Gogh Inspired

Yellow Cottage is an original brick miner's cottage set in the rural village of El Dorado. Featuring two bedrooms, a queen size bed and two singles, a large living/dining area with open fire, dual system central heating/air-conditioning and a freestanding kitchen. Authentic country style bathroom and laundry. The cottage is located close to the centre of the village, within walking distance to the Tavern and General Store. Beechworth, Wangaratta, Milawa are all within an easy 25 minute drive.

Located in the Milawa Gourmet Region, the cottage is ideal for visiting the King Valley wine region, Beechworth & Bright. From the comfort of the back verandah you will enjoy views of the olive grove & beyond the lawns to paddocks with sheep and lambs. Delights inside the cottage include a rainwater shower, bathtub, fireplace, an espresso machine & super comfy bed linens. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.

If you want a comfortable, clean and private place to rest your head after checking out all the Victorian High Country has to offer, then this is the place for you! The guest space is within a family farm house but completely private with a separate entrance. We’re on a 55 acre farm near Mt Pilot, surrounded by National Park, mountain tracks and beautiful views. On offer is a double room with large ensuite, large lounge area with a sofa bed, private entrance + parking at the front.
