Shepherd's Rest

Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

Your private suite is just 15 metres from the sea in our seafront home, with uninterrupted views across Swansea Bay. Step onto the new promenade or use the slipway opposite for swimming or paddleboarding. The space includes a king-size bed, large corner sofa (also a sofa bed), dining/work space, full-size fridge, and a modern shower room/WC. While there are no cooking facilities, the suite is equipped with cutlery, plates, bowls, and glasses, along with tea, coffee, and milk.

1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door, No 2 is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Jacob's Den - Cosy en-suite Pod with own hot tub

Jacob’s Den is the perfect getaway! Our pods are situated in the countryside on a quiet working farm and livery yard, yet is conveniently only minutes away from the M4. This contemporary, spacious pod sleeps up to 2 people with a king-size bed. With its own en-suite and heating, the pod also has a smart TV & DVD player, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are also provided. This pod has full use to its very own private hot tub!

Newly refurbished double room, with an en-suite bathroom. Room is up a flight of stairs. Free parking available. Pictures show separate private access. Room has wardrobe, chest of draws, bedside table & lamp. Fridge & freezer, microwave & kettle (with cups, plates & crockery). Tucked away on our peaceful smallholding, this cosy shepherd’s hut offers the perfect countryside retreat. A short stroll behind the barn takes you over a charming sleeper bridge and up a few steps, where your private hideaway awaits. Overlooking open fields where our horses graze, the hut is surrounded by nature and completely secluded—ideal for a quiet escape or romantic getaway. (Please note the walk is approximately 50meters and uphill.)

Glamping Pod with beautiful rural views

A double bed, en suite bathroom with shower and a kitchen area equipped with fridge, hobs, toaster and microwave. Pod is located in a field on a working farm, where animals can be seen from the comfort of your bed. No tv as the peacefulness of the towy valley is enough. The river cothi runs through the field and offers beautiful walks. Portable DVD player and a selection of dvds available. Wood fired hot tub. Tea, coffee and milk provided.
