This is our second time renting this beautiful lakeside home and it was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. The kitchen was a dream, with all of the appliances and amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. The living room had so much seating and the fireplace made everything that much more cozy. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds with the best sheets and comforters. I think everyone was impressed with how well they slept. The owner was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We can't speak highly enough about this rental. Thank you !

This riverside home was the perfect getaway spot—peaceful, beautifully located, and incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of birds and watching the river flow from the porch was pure magic. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also very kind and responsive. Came for a one week spring break stay with my 7 year old, husband, sister and dog. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully furnished and decorated to be cozy and comfortable. The house is right on the lake and offers beautiful views from everywhere you are. Weather was up and down (as April can be!) but there was plenty to do not far away, and a selection of games to keep us busy, in addition to those we brought. Thoughtful touches throughout the house! Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake with birdsong and ducks swimming by was a particularly peaceful highlight. Look forward to returning during warmer months for evening wine outside and more bites when we fish! A great stay - book this place!

The most perfect stay! The hosts were both extremely kind & communicative. This cute cottage-feel home has EVERYTHING you need for a perfect time. Not only is the place super cute, but it’s stocked up with all of the essentials and more. I could not recommend this place enough!

I stayed here for a weekend and I wished I would have stayed longer. Perfect spot for a getaway and relaxation. Olga was a really caring and warm host, super attentive at all time, always saved some food for us when she cooked. The house was clean, organized, with natural lighting everywhere surrounded by a beautiful garden and a river with ducks and a swan. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to relax, have a weekend to themselves and enjoy nature.

We've stayed at Mae's lovely house several times, in many different seasons, and once again it did not disappoint. Excellent fireplace, comfortable furnishings, nicely equipped kitchen, stylish bathroom. And the gorgeous view of the pond and its abundant birdlife is always a treat. We can't wait for our next visit!

We had a lovely stay. JP was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was exactly as stated in the listing. We would stay there again if in the area.

We stayed here for a tattoo convention at Mohegan Sun for work and I can’t say enough good things about this house! It easily accommodated our group and was very spacious and clean. Mitchell was responsive and super easy to talk to when making arrangements! Would definitely come back to this house for future conventions or to visit the area.

We stayed here for 6 days and it was the perfect spot! She had everything we needed & it was a beautiful place to spend our vacation. Erica was extremely responsive whenever we had questions for her. We would definitely come stay here again!!

Perfect place for our little family to stay while we visited my brother’s family. Easy to find, we were greeted by the host and even had some treats waiting inside. We had to cut our trip short due to my son getting sick, but would definitely stay here again.

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

This was just what I needed for my first trip to Mohegan Lake! Quiet neighborhood. Cozy bed. Great water pressure. I’ll definitely be booking again if I come back to this cute little town.

I stayed at David’s place for five days while my mother was convalescing nearby in New Canaan. It was such a wonderful place to come back to at the end of long days, quiet and tranquil and very private. This is a basement apartment with its own entrance and looks out onto a private backyard with a little pond with four sweet ducks. The space was immaculate upon entry. It has a well-equipped galley kitchen with a washer/dryer, full bathroom and separate bedroom with a TV. The bed was super cozy. Clean linens and towels are provided. Both Norwalk Hospital and Waveny Care Center are nearby, so if you have a loved one at either of these places and need to come spend a few days, this is a great alternative to area hotels. There are plenty of decent restaurants nearby, lots of parks and Norwalk’s Seaport district close by. Thanks, David, for a great stay!

Very quaint and happy little house. Everything you need is supplied. Bed is comfy. A super nice place to be.

Tech savvy home. All the right plugs for our electronics. Heated bathroom floor a plus during cold weather. Upstairs bedroom had hanging space and dresser, but neither available in lower bedroom. Did have luggage rack in lower bedroom. Definitely a do again for me!

I loved staying at Walter’s place! It was safe for my kids, a nice big back yard! The house was clean, the instructions were clear. Overall it made my stay nice, safe and comfortable! Thank you!

Chris’ place was immaculately decorated and felt peaceful! Beautiful spot right on the pristine lake, foliage being in peak season definitely made things even better. Close to fun fall towns like Sleepy Hollow and Cold Spring, but honestly could just spend every minute relaxing at the well-stocked home. You can tell Chris and his family take pride in their home and are happy to share it to price the best experience for their guests. Chris was quick to respond if needed and went out of his way to make a trip quickly to ensure we were properly taken care of at the home. 10/10 - would recommend!

The house is well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook/grill. The hot tub was pleasant and the backyard was great for our kids. The location is only about 7 minutes from downtown Cold Spring and 15-20 minutes from Beacon. The location was ideal for wanting a mix of peace and quiet with accessibility to local attractions.

The cottage was inviting and enabled family time around the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in good working condition. The master bedroom was warm and comfortable. The bathroom suitable. The walk down to the lake, as described in the listing, was a favorite. Watching the sunset over the water was memorable and gave a nice photo op.

Super special place. Very peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. If you love nature and a charming location, this is the place. The host was also extremely responsive and the cottage had everything I needed for a three month stay! Highly recommend!
