Beautiful spot to relax, close to great hiking trails. The home was comfy and had some thoughtful extras.

This house was great for hosting a large group of people and provided plenty of amenities. We especially loved the covered porch off of the kitchen. Would come back with no hesitation to the property next time I have a large group getting together.

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

Nice and quiet home, beautiful master bedroom and bath! Would definitely stay again (even non-summer months)

My sister and I were visiting family nearby over Christmas and need a place for everyone to stay. Fawn went above and beyond to create the perfect Christmas stay for our family. She communicated frequently and made sure to leave a pack'n'play, child's cot and stroller for the kids, and decorated the place to feel like Christmas. Plenty of space, nice winter views of the river, and a wonderful shower! Would definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing. The Host was very nice and responsive. The house was very clean and spacious, had a nice water view, and was in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Lori’s place was very nice, clean and cozy. The bed and the sofa were super comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and stocked with the essentials. We felt comfortable and right at home. The game changer was the breakfast items and snacks that were available for us to eat. The fresh farm eggs, English muffins, OJ, milk, cereal, granola bars, butter, condiments and much more was a very kind and unique touch for an Air BnB. Oh and I can’t forget about the lovely note left for us wishing us a great stay and a Happy Anniversary. My husband and I felt right at home at Lori’s place 🥰❤️🥰

Beautiful and serene place and a great host!

Great place near Devil's Head resort! It's less than a 3 minute drive so we were able to easily drive back to rest/eat in the afternoon and then head back to the slopes for a night ski session. The bathrooms and linen are extremely clean; the living spaces are spacious. The dining table/area is smaller but not a big issue - the kitchen has a complete set of cookware and microwave/fridge. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Very nice place to stay. Has a lot of fun games. the hot tub was good. Kitchenette has a hot plate, electric skillet, toaster oven and blender so you can cook simple foods

Stayed for a night while visiting Roscoe for weekend family activities. Easy to find, great location next to south beloit park and a great price! Tracey was super nice and showed us around when we got there. Would definitely stay here again!

I live close by but needed a space to attend a virtual course as home with a young family would prove too distracting. The host accommodated my needs, gave me a lovely space to utilize, and was extremely responsive and proactive. The cabin is lovely. I didn't need to stay overnight at the space but couldn't help but think how fun it would be for a young family or friends getaway. Very clean, quaint, with a smart design to accommodate multiple people--three bedrooms! As a nearby resident, I can testify that this area offers amazing beauty and peacefulness. There's no place quite like the valley!

Had a relaxing stay. The house was clean and cozy, matched the description and more. Beth was a great host, responsive and helpful.

Our stay was for our grandson’s wedding. The groomsmen stopped over for some lunch. Threw the football around. Had some great laughs. Then headed to the bus that was at the restaurant waiting for them. It was a great day!

We had a great time here & really enjoyed our trip to Galena. The house was very cute, had everything we needed & Andrea was so responsive to providing information and answering any questions we had. The location was so relaxing, especially with the hot tub, & we were close to downtown for shopping and restaurants. We had an amazing trip and couldn’t recommend Andrea & her property enough!

Will definitely be coming back here every time we are in the area. The cabin felt Like home, with amazing views of their buffalo herd and rolling hills. Pristinely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

this is my second stay at the 1850 cabin and it was another relaxing experience. It is quiet and scenic and it brings you back in time when you stay in a structure without a bathroom and running water. I love it there and will return..

I felt super confident in my booking right from the moment I booked it as Dan guided me the entire way and is super amazing at responding and communicating. It was super accomodating when I needed help and it was so reassuring to have a host so kind and responsible.

Molly and Brian’s cabin was super cute and secluded, perfect for a little getaway from the city! Tons of lowkey hiking, architectural hotspots (some great Frank Lloyd-Wright history — including his original gravestone!) and weird tourist traps within driving distance. This area is great for casual birdwatching and the owners even provide binoculars to help! We had a great time and will definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Kristen was very helpful and responsive. The place was very cozy and peaceful. The peacock was a major highlight during the stay!
