This unique and tranquil experience, Your very own mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm that has fantastic views. 5km to Bright. Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.

Historic Wark Cottage

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.

Bright Old Racecourse View # 1

This delightful BRAND NEW 2 BED/2 BATHROOM ACCOMMODATION ( completed NOV 2019 ) overlooks Pioneer Park – the site of Bight’s old mini horse-racecourse from 1914-1945. Today Pioneer Park is home to many sporting events & festivals, including The Brighter Days Festival, Brights Iconic Hot Rod Run & is also located at the foot of MYSTIC MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK, approx 1.5 Km from Bright town centre (a 10-15 minute walk).
