Ruth’s property at Woodend North was a beautiful place to stay and would recommend to others. The property is situated away from noise, apart from nature with the birds and very occasional cow mooing. A lovely place to relax. My small dog was with us and the place was safe and enclosed for her to run around she enjoyed it. Breakfast the next day provided by Ruth was healthy and delicious with some homemade products. If only we were there more than one night. The town of Woodend North is picturesque, with great places to eat a less than 10min drive away. We would stay again if the opportunity arose. Make sure to follow Ruth’s directions, as maps Apps can take you along a dirt road that could get boggy if there’s of rain. Lucky for us it was Summer and sunny.

Natalia & John are excellent hosts. The apartment is lovely, spacious, very clean, & the bed is super comfortable. The location is very peaceful & the outside area is a bonus, particularly on warm evenings. There is easy access to public transport & the Gladstone Park shopping mall is only a short drive away. I stayed for 11 days & you could definitely stay a lot longer. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends & family. Overall, great location, value for money & a pleasurable stay. Worthy of 5 stars & nothing less...!!!

I had a fantastic stay at Susan's place. Susan was a fantastic host and the accommodation was great. Susan has thought of everything needed to make you feel comfortable and well looked after. I would 100% recommend Susan as a host and I hope to stay again in the not too distant future.

Beautiful place, spacious for two and very cosy. Loved the fireplace on the rainy night. Little additions like having tea/coffee and breakfast items made it easy to stay in if we didn’t need to leave straight away. Would go back if in Bendigo again!

Great place for a getaway. Beautiful secluded location, with direct river access and lovely views. Very comfortable accomodation with everything you need for your stay, with lovely welcoming homely touches. Hosts Mick and Lois could not be more helpful and are on hand to assist - great communication. We will be back! Thanks for making our holiday so memorable.

We were long-term guests and greatly enjoyed our stay which was overall very good. Others have mentioned a barking dog and we found that this was not much of a problem really - she's not the type who keeps on yapping - just a "woof" or two when someone comes up onto the veranda. We also noted for the hosts attention and to their surprise that the kitchen seemed to have been pilfered. Although we had been content to make do we are sure that the hosts will attend these deficiencies. This home is in a quiet neighbourhood within a 15 minute walk to a train station and good access to cycling and walking paths along the Lower Plenty and Yarra rivers as well as further afield towards Hurstbridge (which, by the way, is a wonderful ride once you get past the busy section towards Eltham).

A beautiful getaway spot. Fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of board games to keep you entertained in the evenings. Lots of birds and other wild life around. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone that wants a quiet escape.

Loved this so much. Tracy was such a lovely host and it was so comfortable and relaxing to stay here after a long car trip. Waking up to such a beautiful view was the best I wish we could have stayed longer.

Tim's Airbnb in Tongala was fantastic! The place was impeccably clean and tidy, providing a peaceful retreat for our little family. The nice front yard was perfect for our children's Easter egg hunt, adding an extra special touch to our stay. The perfect place to stay for people who wants to visit both Echuca and Shepparton. Highly recommend!

Lovely place that was quiet and comfortable that had everything we needed for a short stay. The surrounding gardens were very nice and the visit from the little dog in the morning was a bonus. The inclusion of a little carton of milk and some water would have been ideal to be able to have a coffee but that would be the only negative of a lovely place.

We spent 2 nights at Katharina’s lovely place. It’s small & compact but was very comfortable & had everything we needed. In fact we were provided with so much more than we used!!

Veronica is a super host! She was very responsive, gave us great recommendations and accommodated us with a late checkout. The property is well equipped, homely and serviced our needs. The property was accurately described, very clean and comfortable. It really does feel like you wake up in the trees with an abundance of wildlife around. Our children aged 6 and 8 loved the outdoor spaces - especially the easily accessible mini golf and basketball / tennis court. My husband who was working whilst we visited had access to reliable internet. The property is well located, just a short drive to lovely walks on the river, Mt Buller and to Delatite winery and High Country Maze.

Suzanne was an excellent host who was friendly and responsive. Her place has great design, is super cozy and warm, has a good selection of books to kick back with while enjoying local radio and the sun streaming through in the morning. Great walk-in shower and modern kitchen. I'll defiantly stay again! Thank you!

Excellent location near the main street. The place was clean and we were given clear instructions on check in/out. Perfect for a short getaway.

We had a great stay. The unit is very well setup with cooking utensils, crockery, oil, salt and pepper...even paper towel and al foil. The king bed was quite firm which is our preference. We would definitely stay here again. We had an issue with the coffee machine and it was resolved within 5 minutes. Thank you for having us

Thank you Maree and Matt for sharing your beautiful property, appreciated. Peaceful, and with the art gallery, cafes & lots of other shops in close walking distance was great, and has helped to get my steps up, I need to improve my fitness, win win. Not far from your property, in High St, I got chatting to Aly and her son Josh in the Hat Shop, and across the road, Cristy in the 2nd hand bookshop , lovely people and I bought items from both stores, great dressy cap and Frida shawl type scarf & some great books, I recommend both stores. When I am next in Bendigo, I would like to stay at Maree & Matt's place again.

I almost didn’t book this based on a recent review but took a punt considering previous reviews were good. Great apartment, full of character, love the decorating. Not your average place, unusual and quirky, great if you like something a little different. Kitchen has everything needed to cook, bathrooms in both bedrooms, lovely balconies and a nice sitting room off one bedroom. It’s not huge but has everything needed for a time away from home. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and nice walking tracks nearby, hard to tell it’s so close to the town centre (3m drive to town centre). The place has two apartments, a cottage and two gypsy wagons, would be great for group bookings. Missed meeting Kim who is away in Africa, perhaps another time. Steven took care of anything we needed and even loaned a grater when we needed one. Bonus old style photographs we got taken in the studio, with old vintage costumes. Kim seems to be a man of many talents. Will definitely stay here again if I’m Echuca.

Good small space with its own kitchen and bathroom.

Michele and their friendly dog Max greeted me on arrival and I was made to feel very welcome. The self contained apartment was perfect for my stay with views over their beautiful property. I was warm and comfortable overnight and had a very relaxing and satisfying breakfast. Many thanks to Bryan and Michele (and Max) for their hospitality.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Everything we needed and lots of little added extras from our friendly and attentive host. Absolutely loved sitting out on the verandah in the mornings for breakfast admiring the beautiful mountain views.

One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed + more. Our pup loved interacting with the other animals. I highly recommend booking Lynne’s place! I will be back.

Rosalind’s place is a hidden gem right in the heart of Macedon in walking distance to the famous Honour Ave. The place has everything you need in terms of amenities and we really appreciated Rosalind’s extra touches providing delicious breakfast provisions. The spa bath is amazing too! Rosalind is a friendly, highly-responsive host and even went out of her way to recommend local restaurants to help celebrate my husband’s birthday at short notice. I highly recommend staying at this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed.
