The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

we had a great weekend at Carolien's apartment. clean, and had everything we needed. local transport really close but easy walk to Jordan and surroundings. thank you

Wonderful location close to museums and park. Very walkable area with number of good little local restaurants nearby. Stairs are steep but this is common in houses in area and wasn’t a problem unless you have mobility issues. Very comfortable neighborhood with friendly local residents

I stayed at Hotel Royal when I arrived in the Netherlands, which greatly helped me to settle here. The team was extremely helpful, welcoming and very flexible. I greatly recommend.

We spent 10 long days in Zaandam while preparing and working in a fair. Margot has been absolutely great in taking care of us, and it's the space was good although smaller than expected (and quite cold even with heating..). Note: you are in Zaandam, not Amsterdam.. but it's a lovely area and very well connected with trains which gets you everywhere but will take around half an hour to get to Amsterdam Central. Quite honestly Zaandam was such a cute town! very pleasant and with everything you need. In case you don't have to go to Amsterdam, you got everything there.. If I'd have to give a feedback, I would personally need a stove in an apartment, even if small (2 stoves are enough) people have to be able to cook for themselves if needed. I missed an home cooked meal! All considered, good stay and great hosts you will be in good hands.

Wonderful apartment in traditional canal house in great location. 10-15 mins walk to city centre and from Central station. Less than 10 mins walk to Anne Frank House. We loved all aspects of the apartment; it was well equipped and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Wi-fi speed was excellent. Building felt very safe and secure and was very peaceful. Apartment is at the top of the canal house so there are quite a few steps. Sebastiaan was a wonderful host. He helped carry our case at check in and check out, provided some lovely gifts and beautiful flowers, ensured we had a smooth start to our stay and kindly offered to help with anything else we needed. He provided advice on nearest supermarkets and on canal tours etc. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Brenda and Rutgers house for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was even more beautiful than the pictures, exceptionally clean and so relaxing. The attention to detail was incredible, it felt like a spa resort! Very comfortable beds, amazing showers, stunning decor and had everything we could possibly need. The seperate den room was a favourite for our 2 kids with it's giant tv where we snuggled up for a movie night to relax after a hectic few weeks travelling before flying home. The big jacuzzi was a hit with all of us too! We wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the bbq, firepit and sauna. We were using public transport and it was a short enjoyable walk to the nearest bus stop which took us into Haarlem in minutes. Brenda was so responsive before and during our stay and so nice to deal with. I can't accurately describe how stunning and relaxing this house is. If it's available for your dates, book it, you won't regret it! Thank you Brenda!!

Geweldig verblijf, heerlijk rustige omgeving maar toch vlakbij het station en op loopafstand van het bruisende centrum. Communicatie was ook helemaal super!

We absolutely loved Daniel’s house in Haarlem. It was the perfect place for our family for nine days as we wanted to visit Amsterdam but also spend time in nature. We found the loveliest footpath along a canal that our boys wanted to take into downtown Haarlem as often as possible. The Overveen train station was a very short and pleasant walk with trains to Amsterdam every 30 minutes. Haarlem itself is a wonderful city; we loved our tour of the Adriaan windmill. Daniel’s house is beautiful and really well-appointed. My kids loved the trampoline and stained glass window! Daniel and Laura are so friendly and full of great suggestions for places to go/eat in the area. Truly a fantastic stay!

Frans und Tessa haben ein fantastisches Auge für Design. Besonders das Erdgeschoss mit lichtdurchfluteter Küche und dem Esszimmer mit Zugang zum Garten waren gemütlich und einladend, um dort zu essen und schöne Abende zu verbringen. Am Steg konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen und die Nachbarn waren super freundlich. Bis nach Haarlem Zentrum sind es nur wenige Fahrminuten. Die beiden haben sich viel Zeit genommen und bei der Ankunft und jederzeit zwischendurch alle wichtigen Fragen beantwortet. Für uns war die Matratze im Doppelbett sehr weich und das nächtliche Lüften war etwas kompliziert, wenn man die großen Fenster nicht komplett geöffnet lassen möchte. Alles in allem aber eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Contact with Merel was easy and open. During our stay responsive when needed but not intrusive. Easy going. Flexible in terms of check in and out. Did her best to let us feel at home. The garden and the seating area is a big plus in this house. Next to the location - near a park (great for the dog) and walking / bike distance of Haarlem centrum. A house with a nice atmosphere!

This whole experience was amazing. The host Marieke was extremely nice and friendly, very proactive and responsive and went above and beyond! Our family was greeted with snacks, wine and a hand written postcard when we arrived which was such a nice gesture. The apartment was so cosy and we felt right at home! My family really loved the place. Everything was clean and tidy too! It was very spacious as well, perfect for 6! The host left various clear instructions on post it notes around the house and even left us her bikes to use which was very helpful to travel to the supermarket. My mother dropped her earring below the couch and we didn’t even know! My mum thought she had just dropped it along the way and accepted her fate. Marieke reached out to me and asked if it was mine and even couriered it to me all the way to Singapore! She even bore the cost of shipping which honestly, was not even her responsibility to bear! We are so touched by how she went above and beyond. Thank you

Wir haben uns in Lonnekes Familienhaus sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Insbesondere der großzügige Wohn- und Essbereich sowie die gut ausgestattete Küche haben uns gefallen und ermöglichen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Alle Schlafzimmer haben sehr gute Betten und die Bäder waren sauber und großzügig. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Familie sonst in dem Haus lebt und die Zimmer "entsprechend gefüllt" sind und somit relativ wenig Platz für die eigenen Sachen bleibt. Das muss man mögen, es macht aber auch den Charme des Hauses aus und bedeutet eine sehr gute Ausstattung mit allen benötigten Dingen des Alltags. Die unmittelbare Umgebung von Hemstede und Aerdenhout ist eine wunderschöne, gehobene Villen-Wohngegend. Die fußläufigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind hervorragend und sehr charmant. In der Nähe sind schöne Nationalparks mit fast unberührter Natur. Durch die Nahe Bahnstation ist leichter Bahnverkehr hörbar aber eben auch der Rest der Niederlande gut erreichbar.

Familien på 4 personer med 2 ungdommer. Leiligheten er nok plass for oss. Fin beliggenhet og privat parkering. Det tar 15 minutter for å kjøre inn på Amsterdam senter. Koselig nabolag og fin med sykkeltur rundt. Anbefales. Vi kommer gjerne igjen

Everything went well, the host is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to a train station from which you can get to Amsterdam in half an hour.

Nick’s apartment had everything we needed. He met us out front and helped with our bags before showing us around his place. He gave us recommendations and told us a little about Bodegraven. The walk to the train took us about 8 minutes.

Anna and Eric were great hosts and responded very quickly to our questions. Eric welcomed us and showed us around the place and explained all the facilities and gadgets. It was exactly as described and very clean. We loved the big shared living space and the bedrooms were very quiet with plenty of storage. It was next door to a great supermarket and very close to many restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes to the Port and main city areas.

Michiel en Rosa zijn zulke lieve mensen. We voelden ons gelijk thuis in het appartement door een super Lief welkomst cadeau. Alles zag er verzorg en netjes uit. De communicatie was uitstekend en het was altijd fijn om even een praatje te maken met Michiel en Rosa. De ligging van het appartement is super en de omgeving lijkt wel een ansichtkaart. Gewoon een superfijne ervaring om hier te verblijven. Zelfs in de winter. We gaan ze missen maar zijn ontzettend blij dat ze een onderdeel van onze reis zijn geweest. un grand merci à Anna, l'appartement est mieux que sur les photos, super propre, l'emplacement à 10 min en transport public de centrale station et de l'hypercentre avec les transports au pied de l'appartement Anna nous a permis d'arriver plus tôt et nous a proposé de laisser nos bagages dans le logement pour notre dernière journée, nous avons profité de tous les conseils d'Anna, vraiment je vous recommande Anna et son logement

I had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. The place was spotless, modern, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was super comfortable and one of the highlights was the bathroom, which featured a nice bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location was fantastic, close to great restaurants, shops, and public transport was right in front of the door, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in/check-out smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! I’ll definitely be back!
