we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house! we were two families and there was ample space for everyone. kitchen had everything we needed. the host provided some fantastic local coffee and rusks for breakfast - this touch was much appreciated! thank you for a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. Petro was so friendly and helpful and attentive to all our needs. we had a small problem with electricity and she went out of her way to resolve it timeously and without any interruption to our stay. beautiful place and lovely and clean. wonderful pool and garden for the kids. a definite must visit for families.

Lovely stay in Vermont. It’s always great finding a dog-friendly place that is beautiful for humans and really dog-friendly - I.e. a secure back garden. It was a lovely home, great space, super amenities and well-located. Thank you - we will be back.

Lovely home with excellent location close to the cliff path, Grotto Beach and Dutchies. Kitchen is very well equipped and caters to a lovely relaxed atmosphere and vibe. We had a great time however struggled with the sun in the mornings in the bedrooms with thin/shear curtains waking us up much earlier than we would’ve liked.

Absolutely loved the stay! Close to the beach and the town but still quiet and peaceful. We felt right at home and will definitely book again when traveling to Hermanus.

What a lovely, tranquil, and peaceful stay! The home was spotless and truly one of the best and most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed in. From the spacious and comfortable bedrooms to the pristine bathrooms and the thoughtful amenities throughout, everything was designed to make our stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the weather wasn’t the best- the home was so cosy to spend in doors as well, but definitely booking it during summertime to get to experience it then as well. Overall, a fantastic experience—10/10, would definitely recommend, with a lovely host/cohost to make it a great experience.

Wir haben das Osterwochenende hier verbracht und uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Cottage liegt super. Man kann Restaurants, Märkte, Shoppingcenter, Supermärkte zu Fuß erreichen. Wir haben auch viel Zeit im Garten verbracht und es einfach nur genossen. Vielen lieben Dank!

Immaculate apartment, perfect location and outstanding host We loved our 3 nights at this beautiful apartment in Hermanus. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thought of. The unit is spacious, gorgeously furnished and stocked with every convenience you could hope for. The apartment was spotless and prepared to perfection for our arrival. But what truly set this stay apart was our host, Marianne. Her communication, care and attention to detail were nothing short of exceptional. Almost like a hotel concierge, she made everything absolutely effortless...from check-in to check-out. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We can’t wait to return to Mila's Place.

Large apartment, well appointed (nice balcony including a BBQ grill even!), and very close to the cliff path for running / walking into the centre, as described. Wium was easy to communicate with and helpful, including recommendations on where to run (and where not to), favourite restaurants/cafes/activities. Providing coffee (pods for the machine, there is also a cafetière), tea and even fresh milk and some rusks was a nice touch. Parking is inside the gate. A couple of specifics which I particularly appreciated: knives still sharp enough to cut a tomato and - joy of joys! - an adjustable-height shower! The only one I saw in 3.5 weeks in South Africa.

The apartment was perfectly located within walking distance of everything. It was exactly as per the photos and description with brilliant amenities.

Ach, wir haben die Aussicht aufs Meer geliebt! Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet, sehr sauber und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Hermanus ist ein schöner Ort und auch im April kann man viel unternehmen: Cliffpath, Klipgat Caves und Grottobeach. Unsere Kinder fanden das Pirate Adventure Golf sehr toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn Walsaison ist.

Exactly as advertised. Clean and comfy. Excellent location. Nice safe and quiet flats. We had a nice stay. Nice view of the mountains and some board games. Just very convenient for a easy peasy weekend

Such an attractive apartment. Perfectly clean, well-equipped, thoughtfully resourced and convenient for restaurants, shops, cliff top walks and all the other delights of Hermanus. It was easy to find and parking was problem-free. Adele was wonderful - so helpful and kind. We felt so welcome and supported as overseas visitors. 100 per cent recommended!

Das Appartment im dritten Stock hatte von der Terrasse einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer bis hinüber nach Hermanus mit seinen spektakulären Bergen. Küche, Wohnzimmer und erstes Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet mit allem, was wir für unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt benötigten. Wir haben uns in diesem Appartment sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die Kommunikation mit L war sehr nett und jederzeit hilfreich.

Heerlijk appartement met werkelijk fantastisch uitzicht over zee. Alles in het appartement functioneerde naar behoren, dus hebben we Lettie tijdens ons verblijf niet benaderd. Bij aankomst was Lettie persoonlijk aanwezig om ons de sleutels te overhandigen en om het een en ander over het appartement uit te leggen. Bij vertrek was Lettie weer aanwezig om de sleutels in ontvangst te nemen. Lettie is overigens een ontzettend vriendelijke vrouw en reageerde heel snel op vragen.

We really loved the place. It met all our expectations. It was clean , beautiful and private. We had a very relaxing time. This definitely is a little gem. Well worth the money. Thanks for an amazing host. We will definitely be back.

Very cute and quaint cottage, separate from the main house and a street away from the ocean. Very friendly hosts and felt right at home.

Great apartment and very central, we rarely used our car as there are so many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. Would surely recommend this apartment.

Wish we could have stayed forever! We loved this Airbnb, it may be the best ever stayed in! The house and location are stunning. The host was welcoming and helpful. There were many useful extras like clothes and dish washing pods and soaps in the bathroom. Very useful after a long journey. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hermanus pleasantly surprised us; it’s definitely worth spending a few days in this town. There are lots of nice restaurants, beaches , and the cliff path is beautiful. The location of the guesthouse is ideal. The accommodation itself was clean, had a comfortable bed, and Suzanne and her staff were very friendly. The inside of the cottage was a bit chilly—probably perfect in summer, but it was quite cold now. The stay is more comfortable on warmer days for ‘the outside living’ , as the couch and chairs in the living room weren’t very comfortable. We definitely recommend it during your visit to Hermanus!
