It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

This Bush Lodge styled cottage is only 3km away from Midmar Dam Resort and is geared for a relaxing stay. The Fox and Hound is situated in the leafy village of Hilton, close to upmarket shops, restaurants, schools, The Hilton Life Hospital and the popular Midlands Meander. It has a cosy living area, with a wood burning fireplace, full Dstv channels, and a well appointed open plan kitchen. Two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two singles, and the option of mattresses on the living room floor for extra guests. Free WiFi is available.

Comfortable Self Catering Garden Cottage in an "English Country Garden". Located in Howick Village in the Natal Midlands, close to Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, Berg wihin 40-70 minute drive and Beach approximatley 1 hr's drive. Karkloof Adventures, close by, including excellent Cycle Tracks! Cottage equipped with TV, Internet and wifi. Washing machine available for guest use. 2 Electric blankets available. Third bedroom in upstairs "open space".

Yellowwoods Farm - POOL COTTAGE (self-catering)

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! Cottage has braai facilities, WiFi and DSTV.

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.
