Breakfast stuff such as eggs, muffins, and oatmeal. The kitchen is stocked for guest use. You're welcome to enjoy the pond and picnic area. There are plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding area, from bar food to fine dining. Hiking in the Catskills is abundant, with routes of differing ranges of difficulty. Summer brings festivals, while winter brings snow activities. There's a bus stop in Woodstock if you don't drive and taxi service from there. It's fine if you plan to stay in, but if you want to get around to other places it's best to drive. We have a several flyers and local magazines in the foyer for ideas on where to go and what to see. On the door are the basic guidelines and on the desk is a binder of information on local restaurants, stores, ect... If you need other resources please feel free to ask. Rental is located next to a busy road , if you are not comfortable with some traffic at certain times of the day then this may not be for you I would also note that this home is small inside but very comfortable . There is a cozy yard to relax in next to a fire pit and a table and chairs if you would like to eat outside. I will provide firewood for one night, and charcoal for grill for one night as well. Located 1/4 mile from home is a local place to purchase extra wood .
