Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

This tiny house awaits you at the end of a gravel road, on a half acre of open yard and sky. Watch birds fly over and listen to the ocean. You are 1.8 mi. by bike to the beach, 2 blocks to the banks of the Mad River, and Hammond Trail. Welcome to our secluded grotto surrounded by Redwoods! This modern and quiet space will be a perfect respite for the many reasons you may be coming to Humboldt. Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.

Our 710 sq. ft. attached guest house has a small fenced in yard and sits close enough to stroll down to view the ocean or take a 5 min. drive to enjoy the local Hammond hiking/bike trails, and nearby shops and restaurants. An easy trip from Arcata airport (ACV) or Hwy 101 and close access to the areas known beaches, redwood forests, lagoons and marshes to explore. Humboldt Cal Poly is located just 6 miles South.

NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
