Heima is a very peaceful apartment located in Ísafjörður. It is located on a quiet street near the mountain. The house is located about 1 km from the main square. Heima is a house owned by a family that built it in 1962. Johann Kroknes, a carpenter from Norway came to Ísafjörður to build this house for his daughter Sigríður that was moving to Ísafjörður after marrying a local shrimp captain, Torfi. We are restoring it to the style that was in the sixties and welcome you to enjoy it with us!

The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, good for quiet evening under the sky and Aurora borealis

Berg horse farm is about 7 km west of Grundafjörður. Berg horse farm live apartment is on the lower floor of a family house. The apartment has a private entrance. The host and family live on the upper floor of the house. Berg farm is about 350 hectares and is a horse breeding farm. We also have some sheep. Our farm is in a very beautiful and unique location. Kirkjufell mountain and Kirkjufell waterfall are just off Berg farm, it is about four to five minutes to drive there.
