  • Reikiavik para amantes de la comida
We meet up in old town Reykjavik by Ingólfur Square, at the two stone pillars to start our traditional Icelandic Food Adventure. Our stops today depend on the restaurants that are operating, but we will always strive for quality. Our first stop is an excellent restaurant down by Reykjavik harbor, where we will sample shellfish soup. Then we stroll towards The original hot dog stand where we will feast on the sheep hot dog that Icelanders are becoming famous for. Our next stop is a restaurant with a focus on all things Icelandic. There we get the opportunity to feast on Iceland in a bowl, the Icelandic Lamb soup, and more. On we walk, and this time we stop at the great Café Loki for various delicasies. If a group makes a private reservation, the experience can be provided in Spanish, French, or German. Other things to note It's a short walk between the restaurants and food stalls we visit but please wear layers as it can be chilly

  • Un paseo por el folclore de Reikiavik
Icelandic Mythical Walk MEET THE ELVES, TROLLS & GHOSTS OF ICELAND Iceland is sometimes called the land of the Sagas and on this mythical walk, you get the chance to hear many interesting sagas involving the hidden people and creatures of Iceland We will tell you all about the Elves and Trolls of Iceland, Ghosts like the Deacon of the dark river, the unique mostly aquatic monsters and the 13 Santa’s (it’s not enough to have just one Santa Claus in Iceland after all ;)). We start off in the heart of Old Town Reykjavik talking about Icelandic Vikings and Magic. We walk a few steps to the oldest graveyard in Reykjavik where we learn how to raise a zombie/ghost. From there we walk up to an Elfstone and visit the Elves of Iceland. Next, it's a short walk to the Catholic Cathedral and once there it's stories of the Trolls of Iceland and their mischief. On we walk to the second oldest, spooky and beautiful graveyard Hólavallakirkjugarður where the ghosts of Iceland come and join the tour. We finish walking alongside Reykjavik Pond and end up in front of the Parliament building of Iceland. It's a very short walk from where we end, to where we started our adventure into the myth of Iceland. Other things to note Just make sure to use layers of clothes as it can get a little chilly in Iceland and we walk in any weather.

We'll pick you up from Reykjavik city center and take you straight out of the light pollution to find a clear sky for viewing the Northern Lights. A successful sighting depends very much on the cloud cover and we know exactly where all the best viewing spots are. We take photos of you under the Northern Lights, as many as you want, and explain the amazing science behind their behaviour, colour, intensity and more. The Northern Lights are elusive and sometimes we must exercise patience and wait for them to show up. Once we have established a good spot we set up the telescope and invite you to explore planets in our solar system and deep space phenomena some lightyears away. We also serve home made hot chocolate and Kleina, a local delicacy. We are experts and professional Northern Lights hunters in Iceland. However, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and a sighting can never be guaranteed. We cancel the tour if the forecast is unfavourable and you can re-schedule to another day. If we don't see lights on your tour, you can come again for free. The Northern Lights are best enjoyed with a small group you can call your friends at the end of the night. And so we travel in tiny groups. Each driver guide takes maximum 7 passengers in a vehicle and we never travel in more than 2 vehicles together to protect the intimate experience Other things to note Please make sure you dress warmly enough, here is a guide I wrote: https://happyworld.is/how-to-layer-like-a-viking/ We take your photo with the Northern Lights but can also help you set your own camera. Here's another little guide I wrote: https://happyworld.is/northern-lights-photography-settings

Every region of Iceland it's amazing but the South Coast it's my personal favorite! It's one of the most picturesque and beautiful parts of Iceland. Not many roads will allow you to admire so many wonders of Icelandic nature. For a good reason that unique region it's often used in movies and music productions. Let me share my love for Iceland and my favorite places on the South Coast. Join me on this tour and see the beauty of Iceland with my eyes. Forget about crowded buses that are full of tourists and strictly follow their busy schedules regarding visiting destinations. I want to offer you a chance to discover Iceland in a relaxing atmosphere of traveling in a very comfortable and spacious "off-road legend" Toyota Land Cruiser 150 Prado. It is you who is the most important for me during our trips. Your experience is my priority! It is crucial for me, that you feel like you're visiting your friend in Iceland. I like to think of myself as a "host" and I will be more than happy to help you with all possible "difficulties" you might come across in the foreign country... So you can collect full luggage of just good memories from Iceland! Before our experience, I will pick you up from your hotel or place of your choice in the capital area.

  • Visita la ciudad con un vikingo
We meet up by the two stone pillars at Ingólfur Square. The square named after the first settler of Iceland, Ingólfur Arnarsson, so a perfect setting to start our walk through Icelandic history. From there, we walk to check out his Viking Longhouse, talk about the Icelandic Sagas a little, and discover how Reykjavik came to be. In old town Reykjavik, we will see the oldest house in the city center dating back to 1762, and from the period Reykjavik became a town. We will check out an Elf stone in the city center and give a small glimpse into the mythology of Iceland, Elves & Trolls, and of course, the story of this particular Elf stone. On we walk towards the Reykjavik harbor, admiring the magnificent Harpa concert hall before we walk past the Eagles hill where Icelanders come together on special occasions to celebrate. A stop by the oldest stone house in Reykjavik is in order, built in 1770, and there we talk about the story of how Iceland became an independent nation. It's a short walk up the main shopping street to look at the magnificent Hallgrímskirkjachurch, and of course, the topic there is the history of religion in Iceland. A stop by the Reykjavik pond is in order, checking out the birdlife, The Reykjavik city council building, and admiring the scenery. Our Final stop is by the Parliament building of Iceland, where we discuss politics & the guardian spirits ;). Other
