We loved our stay at Greg’s cabin! The location is beautiful and the cabin was very clean and comfortable, it looked just like the pictures. There is a nice stream right next to the cabin and we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. It was also only about a 10 minute drive to the casino, which was very convenient for the event we were attending. We would definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a peaceful stay and we definitely found it. Super cozy and clean, accommodating and easy to find. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and beautiful underneath the stars at night. The rooms were spacious and the loft was so much better than the picture suggested. Will visit again for sure!

We loved our stay at this peaceful, secluded cabin. It was everything we wanted and more. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and drinking coffee on the porch. We will definitely be coming back!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The host was super responsive and provided clear instructions. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed being close to the WCU campus. Great place for a large group or family. Would absolutely stay here again!

We will be returning. This was the best possible location and great for staying in and relaxing. Our kids had so many things to do at the cabin. The yard was private and serene. I loved it. The host was great and communicated well and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved it.

Perfect spot for a long girls weekend with my daughters! We all loved that it was right between Sylva and Waynesville, as we love both downtowns equally! It was very quiet. We rarely saw any traffic on the road going further up. Lance gave excellent directions. The communication with Lance was a bonus. He called just before we checked in to welcome us and make sure we were aware of the burn ban in the area. He followed up with a message through Airbnb. The house was great! I loved that the downstairs was like a separate living space. The hot tub was lovely. The beds were comfy. The house was well stocked…there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. We had a fantastic time and felt right at home!

Second trip here, we drove our minivan & it only scraped the bottom a couple of times on the way up gravel driveway, so, honestly, and vehicle could do the drive if we could! We used loft space as well as lower bedrooms, all comfortable & spacious. It was gloriously warm for February, perfect for reading on the deck, hiking, cold plunging in the creek & hot tub. We love the solitude & especially love that our sweet dog can join us here!!!

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend of skiing. We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was cosy and clean and the baseboard heaters & fireplace kept us warm during some especially cold weather. Although in a very quiet rural setting, the cabin was close to the main street of Maggie Valley and all the restaurants, and only a 15 minute drive to the ski area. In the evenings we had fun playing bowling on the Nintendo Wii!

Cute little getaway cabin. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean too. My dog was able to run around in the yard without worry since it’s completely fenced in, she loved it. Thanks for having us!

As always, we LOVED our stay at Uncle Joe’s Cabin. This place is a little slice of heaven and this trip was exactly what our family needed. Our 4 kids always love playing in the creek and I loved napping on the porch listening to the creek and the rain. The cabin itself is so cozy and peaceful and the surroundings are simply beautiful! It’s the ideal location for a laid back, relaxing vacation full of family time!

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin tucked a way with a lot of hiking close by. The cabin was rustic, clean, and just as described/pictured. My boyfriend and I did a couple of nice hikes including Looking Glass Rock Trail as suggested by Lucas. Greg/Lucas were very accommodating and responsive.

Place was definitely as described clean and peaceful. Beautiful views especially with the snow still on the ground a perfect background for my daughter’s proposal. Thanks again for a great long weekend.

Our stay was great! The cabin was easy to find, comfortable, well stocked with what we needed, and a super easy drive to Asheville (but don’t skip out on the great restaurants in Weaverville!)! The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking and they even had items we could use for our pup!

Excellent place, one of the cleanest homes Ive ever been in. And there are so many amenities you could almost just pack your clothing and be fine. There were plenty of toiletries, including lotion. Theres a pack n play, kid toys and books, high chair, kid gate, fully stocked kitchen with dishware in great shape, s’mores, tea, and coffee. Dog friendly with about 4 ft tall fence in the back that connects to the front porch. Neighbors are very friendly, including the elk that blessed us with their presence in the morning. And the creek is very peaceful and the views are relaxing. Recommend!

Had another wonderful stay at Makenzie's cabin. Love everything about this place--beautiful view, nice big kitchen, cozy couch, beautiful fireplace for those cold days and nights, and a comfy bed with down comforter. Bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water! Wish we could stay there again, but they have put it on the market. Hopefully the next owners will be keep it on Airbnb. If I could afford to buy it, I would---it's that special of a place!

As we were driving down the driveway to leave my son said ‘that was funner than fun!’ That definitely sums up our time at Sweet Janes! It’s such a wonderful find and cool concept. The whole property was good vibes and it was a perfect weekend getaway. We stayed in Rise and the cabin was wonderful. Even as a family of 5 we all fit easily and comfortably. The cabins were modern and artfully decorated, with a view of the woods. The bed was super comfortable, and usually I have a hard time sleeping in beds that aren’t my own! Lizzie was welcoming and fun to chat with. The community kitchen was really well stocked and lovely to use. I highly recommend a stay at Sweet Janes. We’ll definitely be returning!

We wish we would have stayed another day or two. Tucked up on a the side of a hill, this cabin with a gas fireplace and kitchen amenities was perfect. After spending a few days there, it felt so cozy that we did not want to leave. This cabin had a ping pong table, plenty of outdoor chairs & benches to sit and soak in the view, and much more. Our dog was super happy with the patio and taking longer walks on the small street across the road. It's a well located cabin situated at the beginning / end of The Rattler. Lindsey was a fantastic host and communicated promptly and clearly before, during, and after our stay. She included local favorites nearby and a whole host of other info that we found helpful for our trip. If we are ever in Western North Carolina again we will certainly be staying at Lindsey's place.

What a beautiful view of the tuckaseegee river. Fun little cozy cabin on the river. Close to all the little mountain towns with good local food, and awesome coffee brew and Fun shops!

The Airbnb was very cute and cozy, equipped with all the kitchen essentials. We visited to celebrate a birthday and initially asked the host if there was a grill. She mentioned there wasn’t one, but upon check-in, she got a nice propane grill, which was such a thoughtful surprise.🙂 We really appreciated that! The beds were firm but still comfortable. The Airbnb gave us a true authentic Cherokee experience, which we loved. We would definitely visit again!

We were only able to stay one night -husband and I were in town for an event at WCU. We look forward to returning when we can really relax and enjoy the beautiful area. We loved the lights at night and the covered porch area, as well as the firepit area (although due to burn bans, we weren't able to light a fire). The cabin was very nice, perfect size for two of us and our pup. We didn't utilize the kitchen cabin, which was awesome, and had lots of supplies. Very quiet and peaceful; close to Sylva and Dillsboro. Ryan is a great host - he is quick to respond and makes sure you have everything you need. Clean, comfortable and charming.

Thank you Kelly & Jim for being welcoming, responsive hosts, and providing a safe and private stay. this was the first time I was able to enjoy all the amenities offered! the kitchen provided all the appliances, condiments, while being clean and organized. the bathroom provided many towels which was a nice touch! Would absolutely come back and stay here again!! :)

The cabin is beautiful with comfortable beds. The parking was a little more challenging than we anticipated with a sloping drive since we had a motorcycle trailer but definitely has more parking space than the average.
