Jeanne’s place is an amazing jewel in the desert. If you are looking for tranquility in front of the lake, morning walk and peace to find yourself this is the perfect place. It is huge and you can walk anywhere inside the house and find a place of comfort. Thank you for the hospitality and we felt blessed to be at your home.

This Sharon home is the perfect spot for people who love old quirky homes. Hidden doors, lots of beadboard, beautiful windows original to the house, creaky floors, floral wallpaper, etc. We are those people! For any parents with toddlers: the house is close to the road on a hill so we had to keep an eye on our 3yo outside but we didn’t mind. We played a lot of games in the living room overlooking the trees and made s’mores at night outside. My girls loved the swing in the screened-in porch. Lots of hikes nearby. Good restaurants within 20 minutes. Lots of little downtowns to explore. Our friends live in Amenia so it was perfect to only be 15 min away. Would stay here again!

Enjoyed a perfect 4 night stay on Candlewood Isle with our family. We loved the house’s amazing lake views with full windows! Great spaces to relax and nice tucked away corners for quiet also. The mattresses were extra comfortable! Easily accessible to local towns for good dining. We would absolutely stay here again when in the area. Smooth seamless stay!

This place is even better than the photos! Wow. It felt luxurious. Such a beautiful home. I loved all the snacks Deborah left us and the thoughtful touches (chocolates and water bottles next to the bed). So incredibly kind and very appreciated. This is definitely the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. One “tip,” if you are someone who is used to sleeping in a dark room, then bring an eye mask because the primary bedroom has the most gorgeous window behind the bed and two magnificent skylights above the bed, but there aren’t blinds/shades. So the room is very bright. I would definitely love to go back (and bring my eye mask). Haha. Everything is so nice, the place is SPOTLESS, and the home feels very “new.” I just loved it. Also, Deborah has the NBA channel, which my son is obsessed with watching. This is just the best house - beautiful and pristine, yet cozy. Way nicer than most hotels. I loved the house so much! I loved the shampoo, the fluffy robes, the kids toys, everything!

We loved our stay here. 4 nights, and we did not want to leave. Dreamy, private location, surrounded by woods. Angela and Nico were responsive and gave us all the info needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We wanted a place to gather with our adult children and 2 very young grandchildren. The layout provided sleep and bathroom space for each family that gave privacy. The open concept living-kitchen space helped us feel like we were together and sharing in the cooking and child care. Even in winter the lake view is peaceful and lovely. Cozy, well equipped, and the lake vibe made this a wonderful family get away. So glad we chose the lake house for our Holiday get together.

The home has been completely redone and beautifully furnished. Every room was spotless, stylish, and inviting, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. David went above and beyond to make sure our family felt welcome and cared for, offering local recommendations and checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. Jennifer was a great host and easily communicated before and during our stay. This property was great for some R&R in the pool and especially the hot tub!! Short ride to many hiking trails and some wineries added to the weekend. We made big meals at the house each night but there are some towns nearby with dinner options. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with family or friends Jennifer's place is the spot!
