Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Our guest suite very comfortably sleeps four and includes a lounge room, a well-equipped kitchenette and access to a communal full kitchen. Views extend across the ecovillage property to the surrounding bush. The centre of town, including the Castlemaine train station and a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants and cultural attractions, is just a 15-minute walk.

Situated in the foothills of Mt Alexander, Blue Devil Cottage is the quaint original Victorian farmhouse of Hillside Acres farm. It is an ideal place for both the energetic and those wishing for a more relaxing holiday. We welcome kids and can get them & you involved in collecting eggs or feeding animals (depending on availability). For mountain bikers, you can ride through our back paddocks directly onto La Larr Ba Gauwa Mountain bike park or it’s just 2km along the road to the trailhead.

This self-contained studio on Dja Dja Wurrung Country is tucked below our house. It's a totally separate and private space, air conditioned, double glazed and with its own off-street parking and access. It is within walking distance to the town centre, The Mill Complex, The Bridge Hotel and the Botanic Gardens; and just a 7 min walk up the hill from the railway station. Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Leanganook.
