Super clean and absolutely beautiful! This cabin is amazing and the perfect location to Starved Rock. The rooms are huge and amazingly clean! We would absolutely stay here again.

Great getaway! Cozy cottage was bigger than unexpected, very clean and nestled up to the woods. Roz’s was a great host and very responsive. Starved Rock was beautiful, great place to explore.

We were in town for a few days for some high school baseball games and to visit ISU and Bradley. Even though we were gone most of the day, it was SO nice coming back to Annabelle's in the evenings to unwind and relax. It's a beautiful cottage on the water that was clean, roomy, and full of amenities. Annabelle was friendly and accommodating even though nothing went wrong and everything in the cottage was better than described. The area was quiet and the view was INCREDIBLE. Even saw a bald and golden eagle outside in the early morning hours (and found binoculars too).

George (Captain Alex) is a SUPERB host!!! Great communicator, extraordinary features inside and outside the home, very relaxing vibe, above and beyond expectations!!! Beautiful place for families to hang out and have fun!! Highly recommend!!

Jason was an Awesome host. very easy to get in touch with when I had questions. The property was beautiful. kids enjoyed watching all the barges, playing in the water, & playing ping pong. I enjoyed relaxing listening to the sounds of Nature & the very comfy beds. It was really a slice of Heaven!!!

This place was a great place for a getaway weekend for the me and the Hubby! It was very intimate, private, clean and decorated beautifully. The location was perfect for good food at the Seawater restaurant and had great fishing locations. I loved hearing the water and looking out the window at the shore! The host were descriptive in their instructions and were timely in their responses!

We loved staying at the schoolhouse!! Perfect stay with the doggo (awesome yardspace). Private & peaceful, exactly what we wanted. Host was transparent about the highway noise, though not bothersome for us. Super convenient to be so close to the nearby state parks (Starved Rock & Matthiessen). Did not have to travel far to find great places to eat (Skoogs in North Utica & Jorge's in LaSalle). Was a bit pricey for just 3 nights, but never would have gotten what we were looking for at a hotel. Thank you!

Doug and team were amazing and made our stay so great for Christmas. We were all in town to see my grandma for Christmas. Unfortunately she passed the day after we left but we created the best memories with family in this home. I’m sure this will become a tradition for our family now. Really unique home in a beautiful area just outside of Peoria.
