Come visit this adorable apartment in Butte, Alaska! With an amazing view of the breathtaking Pioneer Peak mountain in the backyard and the Matanuska River nearby, you will not regret spending time here. The upstairs unit is rustic, with custom made trim and wainscoting panels, the space has a log cabin feel. With decor to inspire one’s desire to explore and get in-tune with nature. It sleeps four comfortably, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and queen size mattress for extra guest to use.

The building is a duplex with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. It is likely you could hear upstairs guests, specifically during their water use when showering or washing laundry. Comfortably furnished, conveniently located between Midtown and Downtown Anchorage. This charming home base is perfect for embarking on your Alaskan getaway. The unit is equipped with a full-size washer/dryer, 43” Smart TV, stocked kitchen, and fast Wi-Fi for your convenience. However, due to the spiral staircase, we do not recommend this unit for children.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Completely separate unit from the owner's one below, with your own separate full kitchen, bathroom, living room and washer/dryer, etc. Only the main entry/mudroom is a common space (especially useful feature during the cold months, since it prevents the rush of cold air directly into the living spaces!) - the so-called "artic entry". BUT you would also have optional use of a private entrance directly from the yard, if you prefer.

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area within 15 min. GPRA has lighted ski trails and biking. We are hosting a spacious 1 bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood on a beautiful 2.5 acre property. You have access to the entire apartment with a private entrance. This property is easily accessible, 30 minutes North of Anchorage and 30 minutes South from the MatSu Valley , just far enough to be out of the city, but still close to many amenities and excellent outdoor opportunities including hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing.
