Could not have been happier with how kid friendly it was for my newly turned 3 year old. I traveled 6hrs for a hiking trip and did not bring 1 toy with me as I knew the house would be equipped for entertainment. Also, the house being dog friendly and adult friendly. Brenda thought of every possible thing to make sure you didn’t run out of anything. She even hung up a happy birthday sign for my little guy. Highly recommend!

A great little cottage place to stay for a weekend in Luray. We very much enjoyed being in walk distance to everything and Dawn's place was perfect for our weekend trip!

Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

We stayed at Karen’s on a whim. In town for the weekend to visit family, we’d normally have bunked our family of 5 at a relatives house. This time we thought we’d rent a separate space. Karen is the best, kind-hearted Host. The kind of host that makes a personal call to get you set up and make sure you have everything you need rather than leave a dusty book of rigid instructions. She’s as good as family in our humble opinion! The house is spacious, but cozy and well appointed too. Nice modern kitchen ready for quick or fancy meals! A lucky find! We highly recommend both Karen and her house!

Totally enjoyed our stay. The Homeplace was clean, well stocked and exactly as described. Justin was responsive, flexible, and accommodating. The fenced in back yard was a great amenity when traveling with our pups. Great host, beautiful location. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay at Lindsey’s home with friends for a hiking trip to Shenandoah! The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of amenities (soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, towels). We also loved taking advantage of the hot tub and fire pit after a long day’s hike. Overall, very tidy, very comfortable, and easy to locate and get into the property.

Location is great if you want to balance the distance between the park, carvern and the restaurants. The house is spacious, large functional kitchen and dinning room, 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, by the way great showers. nice backyard, kids enjoyed the swing and a little sand play at the end of the day. we did not use the grill or hot tub, but they certainly looked nice. fast responding hosts. I had Amazon order dilevered with a breeze. will recommend to friends.

The place was beautiful. It was a bit hard to find but we eventually found it. Everything was clean and even had extras of everything. The view was absolutely perfect and it was a quiet place. The rooms were a bit hot, though.

This is a gem of an airbnb! The perfect place to overnight on our journey from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Getting there and getting in couldn't have been easier. Helen was proactive about sharing relevant information and very friendly. Though we weren't traveling with kids, I can see that this would be a perfect place for a family - providing toys and games for all ages. For us adults, we enjoyed an evening chat on the comfortable couches and restful night in our quiet, separate bedrooms. The neighborhood is lovely and feels extremely safe. Parking in the driveway made for very easy load in/out.

Nina’s place is very nice and comfortable. It’s a great value. We were traveling home with our pups after four months away and it was great for them too. There’s a good dead end side road where we could walk the dogs. It feels like you are in the country but you are still very close to JMU campus and town. Nina is very kind and responsive.

Lawrence and Sharon's place is wonderfully comfortable and very well equipped. We loved the breakfast provided, and all the other extras. It is in a beautifully quiet area. Would definitely stay again.

Jennifer’s place was amazing! A fully private guest house with tons of space and well stocked. Beautiful location and we were excited to use the hot tub. Would definitely stay again when visiting Shenandoah.

This place is so cute, perfect for a one night getaway for me and my husband. For such a small space it really delivered with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Would gladly stay again if we ever make it back to Staunton!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We were attending a wedding at Klines barn, and the location was perfect. The patio has a beautiful view and we were very comfortable the whole time. Would absolutely stay again.

carrie's place is very inviting and clean, also peaceful, you will hear the dog occasionally but didn't bother us, bed is comfy , bathroom is big, loved the hot hair fan. it has everything we needed.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We had the best times at the resort! Our place was perfect! So much room and loved having a grill to be able to cook a few family dinners. We are already planning our trip back next summer.

This was the second time we have stayed her, and hopefully, won’t be the last.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

We had a great stay! Beds are really comfy. Space is much better than the actual listed photos. It was very cozy and we felt super at home! Kitchen had all supplies- we did not need to purchase anything. Grilled steaks one of our nights and had everything we needed. Definitely priced appropriately. Host communicated nicely.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. This will definitely be on our bucket list for another stay in the future!

After my first reservation unexpectedly fell through, Jan's immediate response to have the same week available was really appreciated. The Summit views are the best of all of Massanutten, as I have stayed in several different units over the years. And, our upper unit had zero stairs from parking lot to unit door. I highly recommend booking the Summit with Jan!
