The host was incredibly responsive and provided helpful local tips that made the trip even better. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. This is our 2nd visit to Lala’s house and we were so impressed. Lala has thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen to the raincoats and cooler for picnics, we had everything needed to make my family’s stay comfortable. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes from the redwoods which is my favorite place on earth ❤️ Lala communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be staying at this home again, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best places we have stayed. Everything was clean and welcoming. So many added touches like the beautiful decorations, led candles, bowls of chocolates and a welcome basket of goodies. It was such a delight to stay here and Steve was a very gracious host. Don't hesitate to stay here in this lovely home.

Great home for our families Spring Break. Great home base as this location provided easy access to many state parks and hikes in nearby areas. We loved our visit to Humboldt County. Beautiful area. Home was comfortable and clean and plenty of room with comfortable beds.

We loved our stay as Casago Redwood. The house is very cozy, and we loved the decor. The jacuzzi was fabulous, and we utilized the fire pit as well. The neighborhood has an interesting history, but it was quiet and peaceful. We brought our electric bikes and rode them for miles on the beach. It was amazing! We'd definitely stay here again. It such a beautiful area of the state and we can't wait to come back.

- Directions by Jay were very helpful. - Nicely appointed, old homey beach house. - No ocean/beach view from the house. - It is in a rural area, so no restaurants or shops unless you drive into town. - Very well stocked kitchen including supplies and paper goods which are a nice plus. - No dishwasher but disposable plates & utensils available if you choose to use them. - The beds are nice and comfortable. - Towels well used, but plenty of them and everything was clean. - No A/C or heating in the bedrooms, but fans and little electric heaters are provided. - If you have mobility issues, there are a few stairs from where you park down into the garden and then up into the house. - A bit pricey for the location. - It was comfortable, nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Daniela was such an incredible host. She found that we had left a few items behind by mistake and was so conscientious to message me so we could meet up and she brought them to us! She was absolutely lovely communicating with us, incredible to meet her in person, and we are so happy and look forward to staying there again. Our daughter was previewing Cal Poly Humboldt and I hope she attends beginning this fall, so we can return! The unit was so peaceful and it felt as though you had the forest to yourself just off your patio. 4 young doe greeted us in the morning. It was incredible!

Excellent location and great value, thoughtful and professional hosts, really enjoyed and appreciated staying here. Highly recommend to any business or vacationing travelers with a canine companion!

Katie was so knowledgeable on the area, and helped inform us on the area like no other local could! When we first walked into the house the smell of freshly baked bread filled the room. She made us bread to eat! I ate that bread every day I was there. Delicious. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of the amenities/tools a kitchen should have. We cooked every day rather than going out because we enjoyed cooking there so much! The rooms are tidy and comfy. The washer and dryer were a plus! Having the outside patio area was peaceful and nice to have. So close to cal poly and so close to downtown, yet with plenty of privacy. I recommend Katie’s place wholeheartedly!

We wanted something in walking distance to the Arcata square and Cal Poly. Try the restaurant Salt in the square and Cafe Brio! Yum 😋

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days while we hiked in the redwood forest. It was a clean and modern spot that was near local restaurants, stores, and gas before we set off on our day's adventure!

This cozy little apartment is just the right place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Not only is the unique design exactly as fun and beautiful as the pictures, but it was also highly functional. The stairs to the loft are perfectly designed for easy foot placement so getting down and up was smooth and comfortable. Peggy and Albo are amazing hosts, who flawlessly create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. They are highly responsive to questions and are quick to help if there are any problems. I would definitely stay here again and recommend friends to stay here too.

Carl was the best host of any Airbnb we have been to. His place was in a magical, secluded location surrounded by redwoods, but easy to get to everything we wanted to do. We were impressed by the amount of items he had to make our stay more comfortable such as high-quality cookware/organic coffee and even organic lotion for bathroom use. We were sad to leave, but definitely plan on returning!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Amazing property with a lil bit of everything. The pond was really rad and full of life. The property is really big with lots of room to roam or have your own space if needed. The fire pit over looking the Mad River and the ocean is perfectly placed. Plenty of fire wood was provided. The home is cozy and comfortable. There's river access that is great for dogs and kids. There's a cool creek that flows into the river as well. The river gets pretty wild on windy days. You can access the ocean by crossing the river. It's pretty wide. Paddle boards or a canoe is definitely a must to get across. Over all this was my favorite place I've stayed in Humboldt. I've been to many. I'll definitely be coming back next year 😊

This cabin was the perfect end to a very long week traveling north on PCH from Southern California. My kids were thrilled with each having their own bed. The location feels remote and peaceful but we were still able to get pizza delivered! I especially loved coffee on the porch in the morning surrounded by Redwood trees. My kids loved the air hockey and giant Jenga. You’re still pretty close to town so it’s a convenient spot. The host was very kind and communication was excellent.

We loved staying here when we visited Redwoods National Park. The very private hot tub in dense woods with a nice view of the night sky was a true delight after a hard day of hiking. DeVon was very helpful when we ran into a few hiccups over a holiday weekend!

Spent the most amazing few days here for my birthday. The grounds were absolutely magical and serene. Cottage was perfectly cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub, sauna and outside shower surrounded by gorgeous trees was such a dreammmm. I truly never wanted to leave. But the cottage is located near many trails and beautiful spots to visit. We went to the sequoia park skywalk/zoo and also to a scenic trail above baker beach- so stunning. I’m so so happy I found this place it really was everything I hoped for and more. I would plan another trip here just for the Airbnb. Seriously, heaven. The hosts were super responsive and friendly too!!

Had an amazing 4 days at Camp Trinidad. Loved every moment. It was clean and comfortable and in a lovely location. Enjoyed the private fire pit and watched the sunset over the ocean in the hot tub. Bed was super comfy and lots to do. It was the perfect get away :)
