The location was perfect, less than a block to the beach, with a walkable or bikeable pathway extending in both directions. The house was comfortable, with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. There is construction currently along the beach pathway which unfortunately blocks the view a bit, but hopefully that will be done soon. It didn’t take away from being so close to the beauty, sounds and breeze of the Pacific. Would stay again!

This was the first air bnb i’ve ever stayed and it was great. the view was beyond beautiful. There was so many things offered to us like boogie boards, board games, and other family fun. Definitely recommend staying here. It’s so peaceful, you can hear the waves crashing from the ocean while sitting on the couch. I will definitely be returning!!

We had a phenomenal stay! The serene gardens surrounding the property are exceptionally well cared for, providing a peaceful escape from any unwanted noise. You can enjoy the most beautiful sunset views here. I cannot express enough how wonderful Marc is! When we arrived in the evening, he prepared a charcuterie board and offered us wine and blankets, allowing us to comfortably relax outdoors while taking in the scenery. In addition to his delicious and beautifully prepared breakfasts, he stocked our room with fresh local berries, chocolates, and water. He even started the fireplace for us each evening. We have stayed in many places around the world, but Marc is truly the best host we’ve encountered! He treats guests like a considerate, generous, and welcoming friend. While Marc respects guests’ privacy, we found ourselves looking forward to our conversations with him. If you’re looking for tranquility nestled in beautiful surroundings with the most gracious host, this is it!

Was a beautiful home in walking distance to the beach and the town of Carmel by the sea. Would love to stay again the next time we visit. Was perfect for our family of four.

Everything about our stay was PERFECT!! Evan was the best host...he was so welcoming from the very start, communicated quickly when we had questions, and followed up after our stay. The home was BEAUTIFUL...we love to cook and enjoyed the modern & well-equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances! The views of the lake and ocean were spectacular! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck every evening and visiting around the fire. We spent the mornings soaking in the hot tub, then walking the nature trail along the lake. We used the bikes provided for a morning coffee run and took a fun ride along Cliff Drive to watch the surfers. We enjoyed the beautiful, uncrowded beach just a short walk from the house. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We can't want to come back!!

This place was AMAZING. I didn't want to go anywhere because the views and setting were so beautiful. I just loved walking up and down the beach path and sitting on the deck enjoying observing the surfers. We saw dolphins one day. Both of the living areas (dining room and living room) were positioned so you could enjoy the natural beauty. People were so friendly and the neighborhood was chill- not always what you find in popular destinations. The kitchen is well stocked and the cook enjoys some great views too. We cooked some of the time and ordered in the rest- because who would want to go to a restaurant when you could have a view like this? The home itself is old and has some wear that is expected with a beach front home. The woodwork throughout the home is beautiful and adds a nostalgic feeling. This really is a special place. For us, it was a splurge- but well worth it. I dream about returning. Thank you!

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very private. Can't say there was a negative. The home, yard and view more than met our expectations. I will definitely recommend this home.

A lovely retreat, very peaceful with friendly animals. The space was as described, very clean and I immediately felt at home. The WiFi was very quick and reliable, which I appreciated with the lack of cell phone reception. I was easily able to stay in touch with friends, work, and game. Shout out to the two friendliest pups at any AirBnb, Toffee and Prince! 🧡🐾 Friendly and well behaved, they never tried to enter my space, but were available for love on the porch when they were out. Thank you for the lovely stay! I will gladly recommend this place to others.
