We had a wonderful family stay at the Old Feedhouse. The house was beautiful and just the right size for us and the two grandmas. The kitchen was well equipped and the lovely little extras and details were really appreciated. Our eight year old loved her special bedroom and there were plenty of places to keep clothes for our five night stay. The garden was lovely and the hot tub was fab. We used it every day in sun and rain! We had trips to Worcester by boat (thanks to Severn Expeditions - brilliant family business, so helpful and genuine), Tewkesbury, Simmonds Yat, the Forest of Dean, West Midlands Safari Park and found lots of lovely places to eat and plenty of takeaways too. Claudia was a wonderful host and very responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend - we’ll be booking again!

A fantastic stay in a wonderful property! Dawn’s place really felt like home; the building has been lovingly rebuilt from the ground up to give a truly great place to stay which is clean and comfortable with great amenities, especially the hot tub! Would highly recommend!

Another lovely stay at the lodge, with multi generational family having downstairs bedroom/ bathroom making this accessible. Enjoyed evening hot tubs and card games in the conservatory. Nice day out to Llangollen and shopping in Shrewsbury. Thanks

Our weekend away was great, 100% would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful time away. Jane was a lovely and wonderful host with experience behind her belt which shows through when giving the tour of the house and grounds. She handled everything that we needed with efficiency. The house was beautiful, the scenery was lovely, it was very peaceful and we will be definitely be booking it again down the line.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us-our dog loved pottering around the secure garden, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was safe. The views from every window are absolutely stunning, and the whole place was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. Emma is an amazing host. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

A cosy cottage in a peaceful location yet close to the High St and local anenities. A great base for a a walking holiday in the beautiful Shropshire Hills with the added bonus of a sunny courtyard garden to relax in afterwards.

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

Peaceful courtyard with tables and chairs. Ideal location for historic sites in Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Beautifully decorated cottage, which was immaculately clean on arrival. We’d been left groceries including local bread, milk, butter, eggs and a chocolate bunny as it was Easter, which was really thoughtful. The beds were made ready and there were plenty of towels. Lots of thoughtful extras including coffee, a cafetière, toiletries, also laundry and dishwasher tablets were included. The cottage is in a lovely location, just outside the village and surrounded by countryside. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Niall was very friendly and communicated well about check-in.

Stunning location- easy for exploring Herefordshire and Brecons. Loved Kington, Weobley and Ludlow. Great cottage, immaculate and the hot tub was an amazing treatm

Camilla's cottage in Bentley is a serene countryside retreat. The beautifully designed, spacious interior offers comfort and style, while the surrounding views of farmland and the local church enhance the peaceful atmosphere. We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. John and Paul have put a lot of thought and care into restoring the cottage and we especially enjoyed looking at the before and after photos! Amazing accommodation and fantastic hiking and exploring in the local area. Definitely recommended!

Staying at Susan’s magical vineyard cottage was an absolute dream. Tucked away in the stunning Welsh countryside, it felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—surrounded by nature, birdsong, and breathtaking views. Despite its remote location, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. Susan is truly a fantastic host: warm, thoughtful, and always quick to help with anything you might need, without ever intruding on your space. You can tell she’s poured her heart into creating a space that’s both beautiful and comfortable. The cottage itself is full of charm, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Lovely house in the countryside. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the sun room on the comfy sofas watching the foals and horses in the fields. Comfy beds, but some mattresses were older and therefore softer than others. Kitchen had everything we needed to be self sufficient. Dishwasher was appreciated! Lots to do locally, perfect for a few days away with friends.
