Thanks Joy for hosting us. We had a great stay in Rotorua and the house was perfect for two of us. We'll definetely come back.

Well exceeded expectations! Jen was amazing, helped with local recommendations and timings of the places around, clear instructions whenever we communicated an overall excellent experience. Myself and my children spent 3 days here including Christmas Day, when we arrived it was decorated Christmas theme, there were Santa sacks, small Xmas tree, fruit, lollies and even some treats for mum. Absolutely in awe with our stay and our smiles will last a long time. Thank you Maryann and Jen for everything 🌸

Garys place is in a beautiful location and has wonderful views of the lake, the jetty and lake access was a real bonus. The bedroom and bathrooms set up were perfect and decorated really nicely, good wifi if you want it too and walkable to the main jetty area and town. thank you also for allowing us to bring our little dogs, it made for a wonderful holiday.

Kate’s place was perfect! It was cozy and we loved soaking in the amazing view! The place was also extremely clean and had little thoughtful touches that we really appreciated!

Leani was very attentive and it’s very clear that she’s put a lot of thought and effort into her place. She also turned on the heater for us so that the place was nice and toasty when we arrived, as well as other small details. We loved staying with Leani and would recommend her place to everyone. (Bonus: her bed’s so comfy & we got one of the best rests since our trip). Thank you for hosting us, Leani!!

Tina’s place was cozy and tidy. Although we didn’t get to meet Tina in person, she provided us with clear instructions to enter the room. The location was excellent — there were plenty of free, open parking spaces right outside, and it was less than a 10-minute walk to the city center, saving us the trouble of finding parking downtown. We did encounter a small issue with the door lock being a bit tricky to open, but Tina responded quickly and helped us out. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was nice and well setup. Modern inside with a touch of history as soon as you walk. The host was very friendly and hospitable. I would definitely go back again

The house was lovely and spacious and very homely. And we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved that the water was uv treated rainwater so no chemicals! It was a nice central spot to go to places like hobbtion, blue springs, tauranga and rotorua. The kids loved it there and I think we'd all be be keen to visit again sometime. It just made our holiday! Thank you so much!

I had a fantastic stay at Charlie’s place! The entire home was spotless and beautifully maintained. Instructions for check-in and everything else were clear and easy to follow. A big thank you to Charlie for providing all the essentials. It really made the stay comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with top-quality appliances, the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location is also great—very close to Hobbiton and other local activities. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Donna’s home is immaculate, beautifully furnished, and in a safe, convenient area close to shops ideal for both adults and children. During our stay, I experienced a medical issue and had close family come to support with our baby while my husband cared for me. I missed Donna’s messages on the Airbnb app the next morning and afternoon asking about extra guests. Once I saw them, I explained the situation and assured her they only stayed one night, and I was happy to cover any extra fee. After this we did feel a little unsettled, as neighbors were monitoring our comings and goings. It made us feel watched and impacted our sense of privacy. It would help if the listing mentioned any neighborhood watch or monitoring systems in place. Overall, it’s a lovely home and great for families, we just found the level of observation overwhelming.

Philippa’s place was amazing. The house was spotless and spacious. Check-in was super easy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day. Highly recommend Philippa’s house.
