Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests and we have a phone charger above the fridge available. Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

BARNAWARTHA ACCOMMODATION - DALKEITH CABIN

Dalkeith Cabin is situated in Barnawartha which makes a great base to explore historical Chiltern and the surrounding regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Mt Pilot National Parkland with the snowfields of Mt Beauty 1 ½ hours away and Falls Creek 2 hours away. We are 5 minutes’ drive off the Hume Highway, and 20 minutes’ drive up the Hume to Wodonga/Albury. Come and enjoy our piece of paradise, relax on the deck after exploring our wonderful region with a glass of our regions wine.

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. Just 50 minutes to the gates of Mt Buller and 15 minutes to the nearest boat ramp at Lake Eildon, you can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer or by the cosy fire in winter.

welcome to my cabin ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. We also have a Daybed and Trundle for young families who don't mind the kids sleeping in the lounge . (note you must bring linen and towels for the daybed and trundle as linen, towels are provided for only two).
