There are often deer in the back yard, and at night you can see horses and carriages go by from the Arlington Hotel.> The renovation of the house to make it fun, cozy, and safe for our guests has been a labor of love. We welcome any visitors who will respect and enjoy the property!! We have a portable Pack and Play for toddlers! We love children! The dining area faces the Park, and the TV room is between that and the kitchen!

It has a huge yard with old growth trees, yet it is only a 5 minute ride to Downtown Court House Square or Indiana University Memorial Stadium. Hiking trails, mountain biking, and water falls with over 30,000 acres of Pristine Forest. Relax on the deck porch or dip in the cool water. Time to get back to nature. Outdoor fire pit (wood provided) and charcoal grill (bring charcoal/lighter). Fall and Winter are beautiful times of the year to visit. Sit around the bonfire roasting marshmallows !

Come visit and go back in time. The child- and pet-friendly Blacksmith is located in The Village between the Whiskey Still and the Smokehouse. Nearby is the Woodshop, Cider Mill, Shingle Mill, Victorian Cottage, and Train Depot. Originally owned by George Carney, the Village was built to house craftsmen selling their wares. We are 36 miles from Fort Leonard Wood and 15 miles from Fugitive Beach! The gorgeous 54 acres provides plenty of space to explore the beauty of the Ozark highlands.
