Curtis and Alisa's place is just so cool and so unique! It's a pool hall, bar, bed & breakfast all in one. It's in a cute town that has so much to recommend it and is near the larger cities for anyone who needs to make the trip. We were in the area for only 2 nights, looking at properties and visiting friends, and it worked out just perfectly for us. Would definitely recommend.

We had stayed here a couple of years ago for our daughter's birthday. This year we were thrilled to see it was available again! the only thing we were disappointed about was the construction of the boathouse which we weren't aware of until we got there. Otherwise it was a great overnight stay and will always recommend others to stay here!

We are repeat customers and can always depend on Julie for a clean space to stay during our work trips. Our team always request staying at Julies and we look forward to our next trip.

Tomas’s home is in a beautiful neighborhood and close to many restaurants and things to do. It was clean and spacious inside. He gave helpful instructions for us to get inside and had instructions inside as well. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable sweet place. The privacy is the best, knowing that they live upstairs but it’s so quiet and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The little private patio was one of my favorite things there it was a bit cold when I went out to Iowa but the little fire in the patio was 100% amazing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone going out to Iowa. Anna was so respectful and helpful there was a point where I couldn’t get in because I accidentally locked it the wrong way and she was so quick and responsive to help me out!

Very nice and quiet place! I stayed for 1 night, Brandon was super responsive on my msgs even a little late in night, well maintained rooms, very organized. Definitely a good option to stay.

This apartment was such a good value. Host was very accommodating and responsive. We had everything we needed and he had some extras in the kitchen. The beds were super comfy. This location is so convenient to the near by college we could walk to the campus. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great little place! Lisa was very proactive in messaging me and communication. Once we arrived Lisa was very friendly and welcoming to us making sure we had everything we needed. Space inside was very clean and updated while still maintaining the older/original exterior carriage house look. Can't wait until the main house is done to see the renovations in there. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if back in Galena.

Loved the treats that were left for us . Kelsey also brought me more sweets for Easter !! Which she makes !! My pups enjoyed all the bunnies around the area . Very comfortable for the 2 weeks I was there. Close to restaurants, Target , tjmax , Walmart , gas stations, interstate. Would stay here again !!

I came back home and stayed a week - Everything was great! Best Airbnb experience I've had! Accommodations are excellent, hosts very nice! Will definitely stay again!!

I stayed here one night while hiking the Wabash Trace trail. The little bunkhouse was just as described - pretty small but didn’t really feel like it. It had everything you need to feel cozy and comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and responsive, and the area was so peaceful. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful time at this home! We were looking for a place to unwind for a weekend and the outside space and amenities provided just that. No need to leave, unless you want to venture out. Plenty of space to sit outside, fishing, kayaks, and a great hot tub! The inside was clean, spacious and had plenty of supplies. Julia was very easy to communicate with, very responsive and friendly! Looking forward to going back in warmer weather to enjoy the amazing pool!
