The West Wing has been a great stay. It’s a cool 17th century house, which has been really well decorated. There’s plenty of inside and outside space to read and put your feet up with a countryside view. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, olive oil, coffee, tea etc, and shower gel and shampoo is provided in the en suite. The owners hid some chocolate in the house as a little surprise - very thoughtful. Another thoughtful thing was offering up fresh eggs from the hens outside in the garden. The owners left lots of helpful instructions and recommendations of places to visit. They’re friendly and welcomed us at the beginning and warned us of an issue with a road before we left to help us on our way home. Location wise this Airbnb is perfect. It’s a short drive from beautiful places like Woolacombe, Croyde and Exmoor. It’s very close to the SW Coastal Path, so you can easily hire bikes in Barnstaple and ride part of the path. I would definitely stay again 😃

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

The place was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, easy, had everything you needed and with an amazing view. We would love to go back. Mo was friendly and on hand if needed but it felt private. A lovely space in a lovely place.

Lovely barn cottage, great views, hidden away, nice walks to local areas and local pubs. loved the log fire as well, would recommend.

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

Great host that took the time to recommend things to do in the local vicinity as well as Places to eat. Accommodation was lovely, very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Beautiful location, easy to find and would def recommend.

Tracy & Richard's place is very convenient and stocked with all the essentials needed for a weekend getaway or even a longer vacation. It's in a great location with a couple of minutes away from the local pub and a 30 mins walk from Lyme Regis.

The apartment was well located and had all amenities. From our arrival to leaving, everything was available within the apartment, which was clean, comfortable and perfect for a long weekend. The area is well located, close to the sea and the nice town on Bidport, with a nice local market on the Saturday morning (worth a walk - around 30 minutes). Travelled to Weymouth but we recommend the 53 bus for the views along the cliff.. amazing and worth the ride just for this view (take the upper level if a double-decker). We'll be back, just for the location and the people. :-)

The apartment is a characterful and beautiful, well equipped, spacious space which felt relaxing and interesting at the same time. It fulfilled our desire to stay in somewhere that wasn't an ordinary, bland, featureless room. It was filled with curiosities and museum pieces whilst also being comfortable and quite lovely. Stylish, cozy, and surprisingly spacious apartment in a perfect location—just steps from amazing restaurants, a wine cellar, creperie, and charming pubs. Ideal for walks. The host was super helpful with great local food tips. Beds were incredibly comfortable!

This is our second stay in this lovely apartment. It is perfect for us as it is private and peaceful, yet you can easily walk to the town where there is plenty to see and do, good places to eat and drink. Also lovely walks up and down the river in other directions. Lyme Regis itself has loads to offer in terms of history, literature and plenty to do.

This is a wonderful dog friendly property in a great location for exploring all that Lyme Regis has to offer. Only minutes from the beach and shops. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the garden was especially lovely for sitting in to enjoy the beautiful weather. Mike was very helpful and communicated before we arrived with lots of additional information and recommendations about local attractions and restaurants etc. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The comms and welcome were perfect. Great position with amazing views across the bay. Walking distance to everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Beds were good enough. Seems a little bit expensive for a fairly old style caravan but we had a great time and knew what we were getting so overall very happy with this booking. Thank you for being so friendly.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house is incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families or larger groups. There was more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. One of the highlights was the large parking area—plenty of space to comfortably park up to 5 cars, which made things so convenient for us. Inside, the house is well-equipped for families, especially those with kids. There were lots of toys to keep the little ones entertained, which was a huge plus. The dining table is impressively big, allowing everyone to sit together and enjoy meals as a group—something we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous complimentary breakfast items stocked in the house. It was a thoughtful touch that made our mornings easier and more enjoyable. The outdoor space is just as inviting as the inside. The back garden features a fun trampoline for kids, and a gas barbecue that’s perfect for enjoying meals outside.

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We stayed here for my hen weekend. The house was perfect for all 14 of us. Plenty of room and great fun. I would highly recommend
